did u play A&A yet?

cities and knights is okay, but i prefer the original and seafarers. cities and knights changes around some of the basic rules which made the original and seafarers so good. have you played the expansion thing for up to 6 people? does that change the rules around or anything, or does it just give you more spaces and more pieces? i wouldn’t spend any money on that, b/c when i play settlers w/ more than 4 people, we just put like 2 people on 1 or 2 of the teams.

those little things must have been designed to make you go nuts

how long did it take you to get out all the diplomacy pieces?

anything you buy must ALWAYS be place at a territory with an IC in it

yeah it works, on the MSN zone. i try to play it, but NOBODY ever plays blitz on the zone. i’ll be glad to play w/ you sometime (preferably on a weekday after about 4 o’ clock, if i don’t have very much homework) just drop me an email @ pbsmassacre98@aol.com

:lol: the newspaper. the first time i beat the game (5 min after i got it) i was expecting something good too, but instaead i got some crappy newspaper that informed me that i had just won the game, and to my suprise, i unlocked another crappy scenario which is incredibly easy to beat (it makes it sound tough; just britain and russia vs germany and japan, but the AI still stinks and britain gets like 50 IPC’s and russia starts off w/ like 5 fighters and twice as much infantry and they own all of europe except for eastern europe and germany, and england owns western europe) i have no idea why hasbro interactive (i think they made the game) didn’t make the AI any better, or why they didn’t add some cool stuff, like some scenarios that will actually take me more than 3 turns to win.

once i watched this show on the history channel about how germany was planning to build these 2 battleships that were TWICE the size of the Yamato and the Musashi. it was a long time ago, and i don’t remember much of it, but i think it was gonna have like 9+ 18inch guns, and all this other crazy junk, but they just never got around to building them. have any of you heard about this

yeah, just gimme another week and i’ll be at 4,000 :P

anybody wanna play either of these two? i can play blitz on the zone just about any weekday after 3:30 and any time on the weekends after like 10:00 am

yeah, it takes awhile to do that. the most annoying game ever to get the pieces out for is diplomacy. it took me at leats like half an hour just to get all the pieces out.

one thing i’ve noticed is that the AI never attacks on the eastern front. it they’re germany, then they just sit back and let you pummel them w/ infantry. if they’re russia, they buy all sorts of crap and you just drive right to moscow by turn 2 or 3

it would not be unjust for us to invade Iraq right now. even if our inspectors can’t find the chemical/nuclear weapons that they are hiding, we could still go to war for all the times that they have broken the UN resolution since desert storm.

how long ago was that? was it before or after A&A europe and pacific came out?

the thing is, if i get to that point in a pc game playing against the computer, i just quit and start a new one. it’s stupid to play the last 20-30 min just building up and attacking the computer in japan

if you are playing a game w/ one player that is better than the rest, i would definietely make that player be russian. they are the hardest country to play, but in the hands of a skilled player they can hold out for a LONG time, and maybe even push the germans out.

i dunno, i think i’d prefer it under normal rules w/ IC’s. the rule w/ if you roll two 6’s and you get to destroy the IC sounded cool, but the rule you just talked about sounded too complicated. i dunno, maybe it would be really fun, i think you’d just have to play it to find out
