      Looking for a league game with relatively quick play meaning that I don’t want a very serious game where the opponent is endlessly testing alternatives and thinking about their turn. However, my schedule is variable (but the upcoming weekend looks good).

      Germany and Japan declaring war on the Soviet Union does not bring the US into the war. Japan can declare war on France with impunity, and they do not lose their 10 IPC NO as long as they do not invade French Indochina.

      Any declaration of war by Japan on UK or ANZAC allows the US to enter the war. However, the reverse is not true – if UK or ANZAC declares war on Japan, Japan can go to town on them for free.

      JDOW as allies beat me as axis in a concession. Allied victory was inevitable, Rome was captured and Tokyo and Berlin were in grave danger.

      Actually Allied victory means capturing all capitols, Berlin, Rome and Tokyo. However there is no need to drag it out until this happens.

      Conceding at the point is more than appropriate.

      how does an allied victory work? I’m not really sure, as I can tell it is fast approaching. I am not sure what ettiqute there is in conceding victory, how does that work? I do not want to weasel or wimp out, however I am more than willing to concede an allied victory. Germany and Japan are basically as good as done.

      Assuming no scramble in WGR. I had overwhelming odds in the sea battle and even if you miraculously win you’d have 3 fighters less defending WGR in order to prevent 3 ground units to join the forces.

      correct. it depends on where the better odds are (do whatever they are)
