Is there any way we can see some of these games actually play out? I am curious to see what the best players in the world use as their openers.

RE: Not a bad G1 Fleet move…posted in Axis & Allies Revised Edition
The best thing to do is to keep the UK fleet remote as stated. Then, with the US you need to buy an AC and probably two transports. When the german fleet unites off the coast of WE you send all the UK boats 1 BB 3-4 transports and all the US boats 1 AC 2 ftrs 2 DD 4 transports. With that you keep the german fleet out of the med, take africa and basically keep the fleet from doing much until the US gets enough transports and planes to take it out without much loss.

I think that playing with Low Luck dice and no tech the “whole damn game” is not at all dumb luck.

4 Japanese transports against a single UK sub on the second round of the game. The sub took all four out with four two’s in a row. This was also a Low luck game. I ended up winning it anyway.

RE: Russia Round 1 Attacksposted in Axis & Allies Revised Edition
With low luck dice on it is actually pretty likely to take Belorussia, West Russia, and Ukraine. The closest battle is probably Belorussia with 3 inf and a fighter vs. 3 inf. But early on I would trade units with Germ if I am Russia because I typically play the KGF strategy for the allies.
