I’m sure I must be losing this game but I’m not sure how. Japan’s income is so high? Japan grabbing India J5 after a J1 is on schedule, nothing special but I guess what is special is that you have also crushed China. Maybe I have answered my own question there.

I did forget to mobilise US subs in the Atlantic to convoy Italy US3, so Italy got off some convoying for a round, or at least it forced UK to step in.

It was bad for me when you got Moscow G6 but I think where I have lost this game is when I failed to kill your Italian mechs in Ukraine, UK8. Perhaps you could still have done an all air attack on Tambov.

Thanks for your answer. But you missed my question, just below the picture:

“Would you accept the armistice even if Russia succeeded in liberating Ukraine and therefore trapping the Austrian army for good? What say you?”

To help out a little bit: Germany has a strong army (matched by France’s), Austria, too. But only one which is almost trapped in Russia and therefore in danger loosing all its assets in this situation.

I think you have to give up on the J1 in that scenario. With the Yunnan stack, China gets strong, so you need to kill China first. I tried to kill China first with the J1 but it wasn’t enough for me. Often, a J2 goes well against a Yunnan stack I think. I’m one of the only players that goes J2 frequently but in G40 J1 is so much better because you can kill India quickly. But you kept India alive and a big stack up north which kept my attention divided. Perhaps I should have ignored the northern stack, not sure.

Also, the 2tt landing on Java was inspired and kept me from retaking it, assisting with Japan’s collapse.
