      @axis_roll:

      @Sproit:

      You don’t need to say someone has black and white glasses, this doesn’t make sense, everyone has it’s own view, so everyone wears glasses, satisfied?

      “Black and white glasses” means that there is no middle ground, no gray area.

      It’s either on or off, up or down….

      She is very adamant (almost to a fault) in her opinions that she rarely (if ever) sways in her opinion, even when more than one person shows her opinion to be less than factual (read the German nick pick economizer thread.)

      And, you know what, I am ok with that if you have shown you have a basis for your opinions, like you are a good player or have a good understanding of a subject matter in which you profess ‘expert knowledge’.

      However, I just do not think that seven games of A&ARe qualifies any player as a source of absolute knowledge such as “The allies have no chance in Enhanced”

      And I use capital letters as another form of emphasis besides bold or italics

      You don’t have to explain your sentence, I know what it means, I was just fooling around with the saying. ;)

      Everyone has it’s own view on things, some might swear with defense, others go always for the attack no matter what,
      So? They do what they like, and if you don’t like it, don’t do it,
      I don’t believe Jenn ever forces you to play just like she, would be pretty odd eh? ;)

      I think the game works well enough, and not every Seazone or land area should be in war always,
      The WO2 was fought just on a couple of places, they didn’t fight on every edge of the world. ;)

    • RE: Japan invading Brazil - An option?

      It doesn’t matter how big your force is, they still move 2. :P (haha kidding ya)

      But he it could make the game also a bit more fun, to just annoy the US player with lots of Axis activity there, might cause a laugh after all,

      And that’s what this game is about, to have fun, aye?!

      Can’t stay your last point is a lie,

      Still I doubt if you have serious threat in Sz60 with Japan when the US only goes after Germany and leaves their Navy in the Atlantic.

      But still, Japan should grab its infantry and fight hard against ground forces, the navy is just an extra way to create more IPC, by taking Australia, New-Zealand, Africa? And of course shore bombing India with your Battleships (and destroyers if you got the right tech, not worth to buy it but still, you are allowed to. ;) )

      Guys,

      I just think we are loosing the point of this topic,

      Axis_Roll, You don’t need to use capitol letters to make your point clear,
      You don’t need to say someone has black and white glasses, this doesn’t make sense, everyone has it’s own view, so everyone wears glasses, satisfied?

      So please just keep smiling, there are more important things in the world than this forum, or even this game. ;)

    • RE: Overbuilding Transports with UK

      I think building 1 extra is enough, but not in the UK1, but after that.

      As said before you should focus on the RAF, Royal Navy and of course the infantry.
      You do not gain respect with transports, respect can be a good key to victory, having your enemy fear you, it’s all psychological, they fear you, they retreat quicker, and do not attack you that hard. ;)

      So those 5 transports will do just fine, and letting you lose one if needed (while you never want to lose any)

    • RE: US IC in Norway?

      Me for US playing, I would only build anything there indeed when UK did India IC, and Russia is supporting from behind with inf.

      But that is another story, lets stay a bit on topic. :)

      @Cmdr:

      As I said, Sproit, Japan should have some cash on hand to build a counter navy.  If you are that advanced with the Japanese fleet, odds are you own Africa uncontested, the middle east with a few ICs put up, China and the eastern Russian states to include Novosibirsk.  That means Japan’s in the 50+ range.

      Ok,

      Only when you have enough IPC coming in every turn you can just leave it undefended,

      That way it sounds better, not waisting money or navy power with doing nothing, but buying it when needed. I buy that story Jenni. ;)

    • RE: US IC in Norway?

      @cyan:

      @Sproit:

      I think building a fleet there is not going to lead anywhere,

      Germany retreats (well I would at least) when you build an IC in Norway from the Atlantic, and keep all units focuses now on the entire Russian line, with additional US forces,

      Building this IC, would you still build the one in Sinkiang?!

      who builds in Sikiang anyway? YOu need an indian IC there first

      I was aiming on the US. ;)

    • RE: Carrierland

      I think Germany should stay fighting Russians until Japan has enough ships to come to the Atlantic,  then they should invest in their navy and build up together very strongly,

      Until then they should just try to hide their fleet a bit, so the investment is not that big when Japan comes by.

      Btw, if Germany owns the Suez, can Japan use it? I would say yes, but is it a no?
