My group just uses Standard rules. We only play a couple times a month, and until we get in dozens of games, I doubt we will try any “experimental” rules.

Plus enugh people that I would play this game with, would never consult a website  for special updated rules before playing this game and making maor setup changes.  We would have someone keep an eye out offical errata, but nothing more then that.

If after 6 months and a lot of games, and fi the alpha rules really get finalzed we “might” consider it, but it is doubtful.

I called them (always call IMO) and i was sent an entire new set of jap airplanes.

If a sub attacks a carrier with 2 planes. Do the planes still “launch” even thought they cannto attack.  So if the carrier takes 1 hit, they can land on an adjencent zone (if possible)

or are they forced to stay on the carrier if only a sub attacks the zone? (

When you call, the hours say 8 to 5 PST
I called at about 8:30 PST, but once I realized there was no “Greg Leeds” i choose customer service option / shudder

I was then told their hours are actually 9 to 6 PST.

I waited a little while to call back.

I was only on hold for a minute or less, then the persno I spoke with was aware of the battle matt issue, and took my name/info to get that replaced. They felt the Number of pieces for everything was shipped as intented.  When i asked the best way to give feedback on my opinion on the poor quality for everything else, I was simply told the best way is to go to the website and go to customer service section and email them feedback directly. At least talking to customer service didnt seem like any complaints would get anywhere, and at least the person I talked to seemed honest about that.

I will be calling them later today.  the low quality of this version has upset me.

I cannot believe a game has THIS many mistakes out of the box.
I feel like a fool for buying it…

I guess we need to wait to a 2nd printing for these types of products going forward.
