I could use another round, '41 tech or no.

+11 should probably always either be dd 12/inf egy or dd2 /inf egy… but if you can agree on a bomberless allied bid and a pac/egy-only bid… 12’s a magic number for balance.  inf/art/arm bry is nasty, inf/art/arm ind is good.  4 inf aus and 4 inf ind allow for IC to be built.  4 inf yun keeps the flying tigers around.  sub 35/2 inf yun, sub 35/2 inf egy, 4 inf bur, ftr ind, ftr aus, and of course ftr bry starts the japanese short a trn.

art/arm bry can cause a domino effect to KJF.  Sub 35 means without the 2 bmb buy from ger you can bmb cau R1 and attempt to transport pick.

I’m a big Game of Thrones fan and I’m super-pumped about the HBO series on the horizon.  2 weeks away, and they’ve released the first 15 minutes of the first episode.

Anyone else a grad?  Anyone else ever try?  I finished the first 90 day cycle in February.  I went from 226 to 194 at the end of the first cycle, and I’ve been down as low as 187.  I used to be a football player and played a lot of rec sports.  I messed my knee up, and after putting on 41 lbs since high school it started to hurt more often and more sharply.  Had to do something about it.

I’ve started cycle #2.  I’ve found myself slacking (missing at least 1 workout a week, sometimes 2). My diet, while not as bad as it was when I ate fast food 3-5 times a week and pounded back the sweets, has dipped.  I’m back on the sweets (a vice I find myself struggling to kick worse than any other habit I’ve ever had)–and sometimes it gets bad.  I still haven’t gone back to pop and don’t think I will.  I keep on telling myself “next week is when I fix my cycle”, but i keep finding an excuse more days than not.  It’s true, pushing play is the hardest part.

Eh, it’s just his taste, minke.  It happens to be awful taste but it’s his ;)

RUSH most definitely. Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Pain of Salvation, Opeth, Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, Symphony X, 3, Nevermore, Volbeat…

Who said anything about East Indies or Borneo?  Burma you have 1 inf.  You need bid placement in a territory you have units.  I think I favor art/arm bry… it can start a nice domino effect against the japanese.

AA50 has the best map of any game.  It’s basically perfectly sized and the NOs are apportioned well for sharp, tactically fluid games.

I have always appreciated Funcioneta’s idea of the “asian theatre only” bid idea.  At +9 it’s tough and you can get some interesting placements.  art/arm bry, sub 35/inf yun, sub 35/inf ind, 3 inf yun, I’ve even kicked around 3 inf bur, dd 35 (although extremely wasteful in the short run), and 3 inf phi.

I like KJF and although mine needs work v. the elite players (see the first of my 2 game set in the league v. Zhuk), I think +9 is a good number to get a good KJF going.

So many great players.  Yoshi, Zhukov44, Gamerman, Func, Gargantua, Anchovy, axis_roll, and I’m sure I’m leaving people out.  I’m so glad I’ve found this place… I went from being barely the best player in my group to dominating it entirely.  Although my new level has brought the overall play of my group up as well.

Though I mostly play AA50 '41–I don’t think I’ve seen anyone as consistently good as Yoshi at it.  Arm twisted and though we’ve never played, he gets my vote.
