    • RE: A few questions before starting?

Just play regularly with Germany first, then USSR, then Great Britain, then the USA for the whole game. That pattern never changes.

By circled territories do you mean Stalingrad, Leningrad, and Moscow? If so, they are circle shapes because they are cities, however you play them just like the regular territories.

    • RE: Would the Allies win without Russia in the real war?

Wait, what circumstances constitute an Axis win? Do we mean total world domination?

And, when you guys speak of D-Day and other events involving the Western Allies, we don’t know that those operations would have been the same had the USSR not been involved in the war. Although France was a good invasion point for the Allies, it may never have happened at all if the Soviets weren’t involved. Or, more likely, it would have been modified. So many things could change based on this “What if” scenario.

I like to buy 1 arm 1 inf 1 art on turn o for Tunisia. That helps Rommel out a bit.

    • RE: Germany invading Britain strategies?

Why are you guys talking of taking Russia and Britain? If you have Britain, you don’t need to worry about the Russkies. Unless they got transports poised for an invasion of the UK, or tanks on Germany’s front door.

    • So, is this actually a game I can buy?

I am not too sure what Axis and Allies: Revised is. Is it an actual game you can buy, or is it just another set of rules you can use for Axis and Allies?

    • RE: Can transports be taken as casualties during a amphibious assult?

Exactly. If the sea zone is clear, their job is done.

      Here it is.

Sorry the quality ain’t so great, but it should do the job. Also, the capital letters in some of the abbreviations don’t mean anything, they are only there to help you see some of the ones that are against a weird background.

Also, Britain isn’t purple in the game, they are tan, but tan is hard to read so I chose a dark distinctive color.

Later on I might be able to edit that image with the starting units written on it, sorry I can’t do it now, but are you still interested?

    • RE: What about that unnamed red island in the Baltic Sea?

      That makes sense.

Also, if I was Germany, could I land on Iceland without first sending a transport there? I have never been sure about this. There are no units there, so it wouldn’t be combat, but it isn’t technically mine.

    • RE: Paratroopers

I would like there to be a seperate piece for air transports. They could cost 10 IPCs, move six spaces, have no attack, 1 on defense, and carry land units. Not sure how much though, maybe just go with the naval transport way, any combination of two land units except for tanks, and tanks, AA guns and artillery could only be used for non-combat. The infantry would be paratroopers and attack on a 2 for the first round, then 1.

    • RE: THe $12 you get to start with!!

I recently bought 1 art 1 inf and 1 tank for Tunisia. It was a good value, and they swept through the Middle East, barely. Luckily the Soviets were worried about Germans attacking the light purple areas and beyond and didn’t send tanks in from Stalingrad.
