Some may disagree with me but if he is going all for russia then trying to counter might not be the best idea… Go for the inf and planes or infantry and tanks, doesnt matter, just get a bunch of infantry while stalling him until England and America land. As for japan I would say bring your inf back first round then on the second, bring them back and mess japan  by taking their IC in korea, or take manchuria , if they want to go all india then bring down the hammer from the Eastern russians

So I don’t know if you guys care but I just wanted to let ya know…

For my Majors I dont use the little square things, instead I use the Hotel pieces from Lord of tthe Rings monopoly. The are giant fortresses and look quite epic and dominating on the board. ther are really wite so I painted them grey to match the IC from spring 1942, which I use for my minors. So if you have that game then check it out!

I was going to say barbarossa but the third option would have made me feel stupid so I chose to watch allied moves… I once played a gy who bought three destroyers as england first turn so I captured england with three transports and only taking two casualties… but usually I go for the Russians

I have also made my own but I gotta say that mine is much simpler… I was playing as both UK and US and it was difficult for me to get back to the computer to type stuff in… It looks great and I can see all the hard work but it seems like a lot to type in… Also in my experiance I find that people like to ask whoever keeps the money how much money they have and its easier if you dont have to scroll up 500 lines or more… criticisms aside it looks fantastic and quite intricate! gave me ideas for mine!  :-D

If I were germany and you were doing such moves I would build some transports and land at London… other than that its a pretty good strategy. You could however just buy a minor there and get units there without the use of transports

If ANZAC and the US are both not at war… can ANZAC land an AA gun in the philipines? or put anybody there for that matter?

I would like to let it be known that my strategfy mentioned before was bad on purpose… I was joking hahaha

What I like to do is spread my infantry out evenly, 1 per territory, then I buy some bombers back in Moscow and send them east, A good 3 bombers on the first turn really messes with the Japs :lol:

I dont understand why subs would block… I can see why a surface warship would because the transport could see it and not enter because they knew it was there… but subs are underwater so I like the pot shot because its like a sneak attack which the sub was literally made for

Well with this new scramble rule Erie could be a pretty good use out of the allies… because US can capture it, build an airbase then use 3 planes to protect boats that Britain builds and other things of that nature.

I like to not attack yugoslavia and attack g2 and it has worked pretty good so far if italy takes it later

I wasnt reading the discussion on Larrys Site… Frankly because its too long. But is there a reason for moving some of Britains S Atlantic Fleet to Egypt and moving some of Italys N African Infantry to Rome?

And also in regards to the Sealion…
If Germany goes all out on England the Russian Bear is too Big
If America Focuses on Europe The Rising Sun will cover The entire Pacific
If England Goes all Africa or Defends the incoming Germans with everything then the other side will falter.

This game is difficult and difficult to balance when the players need to balance their attacks and their buys as well.
