An ill advised Japanese attack which went bad probably snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Yeah, the end game in Persia wasn’t completely clear. I needed to get Iraq as well so that my 2 complexes would be competing with Egypt and South Africa. That would then have potential to at least hold back the British indefinitely while only absorbing some G income.

Not sure why I moved a sub to SZ117.

Error in path for fighter used an extra movement, that’s the edit.

I’ve played on but I don’t think I’ve ever won. When it happened against Adam514 I conceded right away.

Wow. That was a big win. Seems like luck has swung back to the Axis.

I’m going to concede this game here. Looks like you’ll displace USA from Normandy and the allies will have a lot of trouble getting back Gibraltar even. You might lose Egypt but I don’t think it’s enough.

Not only must both players use it, they must use it every time. A single save with an earlier version will cause the problem.

I think 8 is fine. If it was 16 you could knock out the top player from the 16th spot with some good dice.

Regarding the 72hr limit, some feel it should be longer for the championship games.

Completely agree with this. Sounds like a pain to administer the 4 sheets though.

@karl7 I think the major change is the scramble rules (can scramble to land and/or from CVs) but the map is drawn differently so that few islands are in their own sea zone and most border 2. Also USSR is significantly stronger and has an IC in the east.

There are many changes but that gives you a quick overview.

I have to disagree with you on that one though. If you play 8 games of BM and 3 of P2V, I can’t see why that should qualify you to be the league champion (potentially) for P2V or even OOB.

If you only really care about getting into the finals, play 8 games of one version then move to another if it is feasible you will have time in the year to complete that.
