      UK Pacific gets its income from UK Pacific board excluding British Columbia and including West India.

      When UK takes over Persia, the IPC gained goes to UK Europe?  If Germany takes over London, then UK takes over Persia, then the IPC gained goes o UK Pacific?  If UK takes over Persia, then Germany takes over London, can UK take Persia for UK Pacific?

      JamesAleman, I’m curious if you had an opportunity to play as Axis using your Sea Lion via Scotland strategy versus Allies who places 90-100% of USA income into the Pacific theater.  This has been much discussed in recent weeks by Cmdr Jennifer.

      i’m new to abattlemap.  i downloaded the 1940 global module and it looks great.  However, the program crashes frequently especially when i’m moving units.  does anyone else experience this?  is there a way to resolve this?  I did change the map to the smaller sized 10mb file, but i’m still encountering this problem.

      No.  AA guns fire only at planes actually attacking the territory that they’re in.

      When aircraft flys over a hostile zone with an anti-aircraft gun does the anti-arcraft gun get to fire at the planes?  If so, does this happen for combat movement and or non combat movement?

      I completely agree that the game is broken. After all, not making the game so Italy can have a 50/50 chance of taking all of africa and making it very likely the Germans have to do it and regulating Italy to a subserviant role is completely broken. What were they thinking. It is like they were making a WW2 scenario in 1940 or something.

      Oh and add the game being broken because of France too. I mean, really. France has no chance against Germany. Who would want to play France.

      Heh, that you, Ed?  We Axis players are just whining about the indefensibility of Italy.  Damn history, we want this game to give the Italians a fair shake!

      We want Brits to get a fair shake, when their entire atlantic fleet can be killed G1, and even the Med fleet can be killed with German planes, remaining Italian navy.

      That is a lie. Germany is in no position to kill Gibraltar fleet and planes are needed to either attack London fleets or help paris attack. There is no counter. Hence it is broken.

      No, the Med fleet can be attacked on G2 with planes in West Germany even if it’s DD, CC, CV, ftr, tac in the Med. In the event that some ships survive, the Italians can mop them up with a DD, CC and 2 ftrs.

      That will be one costly attack for Germany

      Not taking France on G1 would be a grave mistake.  Not only are you not looting the 19 IPC that you desperately need, France will be building units against you which will make it more costly for you to take over on G2.  That’s a 19 IPC swing in both directions, plus the added casualties of a G2 attack on France, not to mention the 4 IPC for France itself.

      i would sink most of the UK navy (definitely sink the groups with BB and the destroyer and transport off Canada) and leave the rest… and head for France.  on top of your units add 1 tactical bomber and 1 fighter to the mix.  the 1 art and 2 infantry to normandy is pretty safe.  i would also invade yugoslavia with forces that can’t reach france and leave 1 infantry in romania for non combat movement into pro axis bulgaria. 1 infantry in norway move into pro axis finland as well.

      Are aircraft carriers considered a surface warship? If a transport with an aircraft carrier moves through a SZ with an enemy submarine, does the submarine fire on the transport?

      Not attacking SZ112 was a choice made to preserve more of Germany’s Airforce.

      As for UK destroying Italian fleet, that means UK would be prone to a possible Sealion attack.  By Germany placing main navy in baltic SZ113, UK cannot enter with whatever is left of its navy near UK (which in the example i described would be 1 destroyer, 1 cruiser, 1 transport).  The only German naval units UK can attack would be any subs that survived G1.

      2. Takes over France, Normandy, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Finland
      3. Moves 6 Infantry and lands all planes (except two fighters) on Western Germany
      4. Destroys UK navy except for fleet at Gibraltor, the destroyer transport at SZ109, two cruisers in SZ112
      5. Places AC DD SUB in SZ113 along with 1BB, 1CA, 1TRAN and 2FIG

      As UK what would buy and do on UK1?

      An attacker moves his destroyer and sub into a sea zone with a convoy symbol (next to my territory with say 6 total IPC worth) and I defend with one destroyer.  My destroyer dies and the attacker takes no losses.  On my combat turn, I do not remove these naval warships and I go to collect income.  I subtract 1 for the enemy destroyer and 2 for the submarine?  or would the submarine be 1 since he did not declare the sub to be on station?
