I started playtesting the expansion in the development phase back in 2003. I haven´t seen any expansion, that big, on the market that have been that thoroughly tested.
Many of the included expansions chapters I used along with the classic, revised 2004 and anniversary edition too.
My personal favorite is for sure the:
Soviet Guards
Waffen SS
Super heavy battleships
Commandos/Marines
Revised Strategic Bombing
and
the Cost of all units that make all units shine through the new cost/benefit balance.

We have played Global 1943 House Rules Expansion several times, since we ended the play testing. All I can say is that never before have I experienced an Axis & Allies setup so realistic and close to History as the Global 1943 House Rules Expansion. It is both fun to play and challenging. I hope that other Axis & Allies players will experience what we’ve experienced…

No matter if you play the House Rules 1943, basic, 1940 setup or OOB, you can still decrease the amount of rules and pick the exact amount of rules that you seem fit and interesting. It might end up unbalanced, but - its about training and fun.

Anyone who knows if it was intended that Sired blood changed the IPC of Celebes from 3 to 4 on his OOB map?

Is there a revised strategy guide G40 coming anytime soon - there has been some additions to the German strategy guide etc.

The new IPC tracking chart is quite new…do you use it in every game ?

When can we expect this rule to be active ?

This rule is simply one of the best and most flexible additions to the G40 HRE. Finally the Air War is upgraded.
