First of all I would like to thank Beamdog for creating possibly the best PC version of the game. Even though Triple A is heavily used by the community. I was just curious. Has there been any conversations in the Beamdog dev team regarding some updates? I realize that once a game is completed it rarely has continuous support. This game in particular has a niche community but very passionate. Some Questions for Beamdog…

1. Will there ever be a fix for allies landing on each other’s carriers?

2. Will there ever be a fix for a ally AA gun to work in another Ally’s territory?

3. A possible timer on the screen showing how much time you have left before you are out of time in time limit matches?

I do want to thank your team again. The complexities of piece movement in this game is intense. (Especially involving transports) I have played this game since I was 10 years old and it’s a real treat to be able to call up some old friends and play this amazing game with them once again.

I truly hope that their are enough players in the community that allows your team to financially make another version of the game. Global or Anniversary would be amazing.

Hello Axis And Allies fans. Quick question. I was looking for the pieces that symbolize generals , admirals and commanders. I know they exist bit I am having trouble finding them. Does anyone have a link to the site to purchase them? Thank you

@Nubnumber1 ooooooooooOOOO buddy you have got to play Anniversary or Global 1940. It is the best type of Axis and Allies fun. Do it! LoL

@Hayes-Hine I wish I had that many people around me that liked to play Axis and Allies. I am jealous

@Warskule83 baby steps. Understanding the basics of the game is important. Depending on what level of complexity your looking for well dictate what version of the game you will be comfortable with. Welcome to the community.

@GEN-MANSTEIN So without making the game too complicated do you think its vilable to have certain spaces on the board have movement or combat modifiers to give the game a bit more strategy?

This goes out to all the long time Vets of this game. I myself have been playing AnA since 1985 all versions. I was curious to know what (if at all) rules you have come up with to keep Japan in the pacific and not running through Russia’s backyard unhistorically.

@FrancoFan Welcome to the party Franco. A long time ago I played drinking AnA. Basic game original rules. The game doesn’t last long because eventually no one cares who wins.

@DesertFox_96 The rare earth magnets can be found on Amazon. just make sure you pick the right size. They are small and very strong.

@Valladares Human ingenuity never ceases to amaze me. Why didn’t I think of that? I bought the ones from HBG. They are good but I could have saved money. Thank you for the tip.

@Billbob Hellllllooooo Billybob. Welcome to the club. Once you go global very hard to go Europe or Pacific. It’s just too damn fun. Plenty of info here and many members who have decades of experience in this game. So if you have any questions just ask away. Enjoy a great game.

@Reeds253 welcome to the club Reed. As you play you will start to notice strategies between your friends and opponents that are hard to beat and that is when you will migrate to AA1940 because it opens up different strategies and possibilities not possible in AA second edition. @scottyp65 have played that type of game before many moons ago. It does add a little bit of realism but at the cost of game length and overly complexity. The version we played involved having more ipcs because you had to purchase scouts… (representing intel, spys, etc) this was the way you could identify what was in a neighbouring territory. The further away the harder the intel. Navy combat was even more intricate. Just because you moved into a zone with an oppenent did not mean automatic combat. Had to send scout planes to find surface ships and destroyers had to be sent on Anti sub patrol. It was interestings. Lots of added rules. My opinion. If you have friends that are like minded it will be a fun game. But trying to convince a different player to play that way can be difficult to explain and for that player to be engaged. Basic AA is just that. Basic. If you like more realism added to your version of AA take a look at Gamers Paradice addition rules they have 3 expansions. They add a little complexity to the basic version of AA. If you search around you may rven find rules for what you are looking for already made. Good luck and have fun.
