i still think the German armored retreat from Yugo to Romania is the dumbest thing that people allow when you started in France. How do you get another movement?
HMMM.

Guess we’re not getting our game or a refund.

It better be as good or better than the last one. Many of us are still concerned about the lack of details surrounding your encounter with Guerrilla Red-Crotch and possible ramifications of that encounter.

whats a good game that can be finished in one setting for 5 players? I’ve got AA1940 (too long), DDay, 3 players max, battle of France 3 players max, so it would have to be either play 2 days of 1940 which can be done in someones garage or where we can set it up, or one of the other games like 42

I like them quite a bit we use them more than the the RAF roundel.

to everyone here. I was simply asking for opinions. I think its BS and wondering how you all handle this. Our method is you retreat the direction you came from. maybe this is house rule crap. I dont know. I’m not some rules expert.

if you all think this is a good thing go ahead. we dont allow cheeze in our games. the maximum movement they have is 2. I certainly wish a new “official” rule addendum would fix this. we just dont allow crap like that
as such i choose not to play with folks that think this kind of stuff is OK

i dont think you get it.
its the fact that you are giving the units a 3rd movement regardless of what they do.

it positions all your armored forces with the ability to hit Ukraine on turn 3 if you want

Assume G1 most all armor go to assault France.
Yugo is not attacked
G2 Yugo is attacked by all armored units from France via N Italy and one unit from Romania.
After one impulse all units are retreated to Romania, thus giving the armor a 3rd movement.

How many people allow this cheezy @$$ move?

You just need to get the Pacific side of the board and then the USA wont be able to just pound away at you. Some radical thought shifting will occur because that player will now have to consider both sides.

Plus, the Global game is way more fun!!!
