have been thinking about it now, so maybe the wire was used to seal cabinets after past inspection. the wire went into a loop and back tru a lead ring. 
check the electrical/ fire inspection companys ;)

i found this thin wire, and I think it`s perfect barbed wire :)
this wire is used for sealing the handle on the fire extinguishers.
and companys that performs service and check, might have some to give away

i have A&A boardgame, spring 1942 ( the orginal, think 89 ish, its still complete), D-Day and the Bigboard Europe and Pacific. but unfortunately little game time, 10+ hours is hard to get from friends who are married these days. so when i was downloading the new rules first alpha 2 than 3, i saw the miniatures and became curious, its a faster game, the pices look nice, especially the tanks/ vehicles and mg teams, and perhaps easier to get new players interested, hope so.

about the revised cards i think i got the point,some units have been too cheap and viceversa for some other units, balanced strength ratio.

have now downloaded and printed out all cards that i have x2 from tintirinti and laminated them for better durability, another positive thing was the photos on the cards, made it easier, see who´s who.

i can see now that the crack shot is  sweet,
as a newbie i have to add a few more questions, and more will probably come eventually as the game progresses.

i see there is a upgrade to v2.0 do this applies to all or only a few single units.? i cant find all?

exsample: again the Vet,Tiger
v1.0 costs 65 vs 68 points (v2.0), with exstendet range 10 vs 12 (v2.0)
superior armor 2 vs heavy armor(v2.0) both have crack shoot
can i choose between them before the game starts ? or have v1.0 ended up in the graveyard for this spesific unit?

Hex,
i am going to build one large battleboard 3D scenic size 40/50" x 100" which way to put the hex ? with flat hexfront or 45 degree front?
or is it hard to navigate with only center marks compare to standard hexagons ?

anyway, i have to say that A&A miniatures is amazing, with 3 in 1 adventure that appeal to me, collecting, scenic construction and of course playing the game ;)

has yust begun  collecting, so i am a rookie. in every possible way.
so i have som questions which i hope to get answere on :)

1. can u use/mixing units from the various sets?
2.why does the veteran Tiger from North africa set cost 68, when the Tiger 1 costs 56?
attacks and defense are equal and it seems to me they have quite similare special skills
is the difference worth 12 points for the veteran Tiger ?
