    • RE: European delivery

      Hello Witt,

I am in Germany and wrote Renegade two weeks ago and received the following reply:

“Unfortunately, our EU warehouse is still waiting for the new copies of Axis & Allies: Stalingrad. The manufacturing experienced some delays, hence, the new copies bound to EU have not been shipped yet.
We estimate the arrival of the new copies 3-4 more weeks from now.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.”

So, i guess, a no for Europe, yet. I hope this will be resolved soon.

To revive this relatively old post:
      Hello folks,

I am living in Leipzig, Saxony, and also looking for additional players. I already gathered a small group of interested ones, but it is - as anybody knows all to well :-D - never enough.

This said, if there is anybody living in Leipzig or nearby please contact me.

We have all versions ecxept the one from 1984 and the Anniversary Edition. And Shogun. :-)

    • Question regarding Russian Revolution

      Hello there,

I have a question regarding the Russian Revolution. I hope this one is a new one and not already answered somewhere else. If so, I apologise in advance and would like to have a link to the matching answer.

This said, in general, the conditions to meet the revolution are clear to me. I think there is nothing to discuss: 3 territories adjacent to Moscow under control of the CP, not being contested + another original Russian territory like Poland under control of the CP, not being contested + Moscow not being controlled by the CP.

What happens in the following situation?
Imagine Sevastopol is controlled by Austria, then at some point got attacked by the British, making it contested with no Russian troops present.
The CP now manages to meet the conditions for the Russian Revolution and Russia offers the armistice which gets accepted by the CP. What happens to Sevastopol (or Kazakhstan and so on) in such a state?

Will it be considered a shared territory between Russia and the CP? And therefore creating a barrier for the Entente?

      or

Will it be considered a contested territory between the Entente and the CP? And therefore creating no barrier for the Entente?

    • Armistice: Yay or Nay?

      Hey there,

maybe you followed my questions regarding the Russian revolution (here: https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/post/1779566). If so you should be familiar with the situation.

If not: Below you see a pre-Revolution situation. Austria finished its moves. It wiped out the British troops in Kazakhstan. An easy win, but a huge strategic error.
The Russian player then tried to trap those troops by provoking the Revolution with a withdrawal from Livonia and the Liberation of Ukraine. It failed, interestingly. So Ukraine stayed contested. Subsequently, the Entente accepted without hesitation the offered armistice and the Austrian army could move out of Russia to fight another day.

That said, I would like to know if you would accept the armistice even if Russia succeeded in liberating Ukraine and therefore trapping the Austrian army for good. What say you?

      Pre-Revolution-Situation.jpeg

In this photo you can see a pre-revolution-situation. Austria just finished its combat moves. The 11 British troops then got wiped out and Russia faced a difficult decision.

Finally, it Russia decided to abandon Livonia and to attack Ukraine. Therefore provoking the Revolution. The intention behind that was to trap the Austrian troops behind a Russian Ukraine and surround them with Russian territories. (Sevastopol and Kazakhstan were under Russian control in this situation.)

My question: Is this possible following the rules? if yes, could at least the planes get out again?

    • RE: Question regarding Russian Revolution

      @Krieghund Thank you very much.

In addition to that I have two follow-up questions:

      • 1a ) What happens to Entente forces in a shared territory? Can they freely move out to attack CP territory? For example: Moscow is shared and there are 5 British troops. Poland is controlled by Germany. Can these British troops engage Poland? I think not, because a shared territory is like a contested one and therefore prohibiting any advancing movement.

      • 1b ) If the territory is not shared these troops could freely move out and attack, right?

      • 2 ) After the revolution has occured is Moscow counted as a conquered capital for the Central Powers? In my understanding this is not the case. So the Central Powers still have to conquer two capitals like Paris and Rome.
