a couple of questions:
1. usa takes over japan and eliminates all their men. german slowly comes back and claimes japan land and eventually gets tokyo back (by a battle usa vs germany). What happens now? does this land go back to japan even though they have no men left? I was under the impression whoever wins the battle claims the land and it doesn’t matter who the original owner is. If this is true then once your country’s men are completely eliminated is it far to say they are out for the rest of the game?
2. once germany hits 63 IPCs do they still collect IPC when they claim more land? or is the max 63 IPCs no matter what?

can a transporter carry only 1 infantry, move it 2 spaces and upload it? or does it need 2 units?

2 questions:

1. you can mobilze only a number of units up to the income value of that territory. does this include land units only? or air and sea units as well?

2. can defending planes retreat ?

i just bought AAG and i played it for the first time last night.

3 questions about the rules:

1. when it says ‘move battleships, destroyers etc’ can they move if they are in a combat situation? so move them out of combat?
2. it’s my turn and i play 2nd. during a land attack  i lose an artillery. can i use this lost artillery to attack back during my round? (like most AA games)
3. in order to damage my enemy’s airfield do i have to destroy all of his land pieces first??

i don’t understand the difference betweeen infantry and us marines.

what is their attack value in amphibious attacks? and what if they have a matching artillery? do they still attack at 1 when the move from one land territory to another?

2 questions to clairfy the rules.

1. For all your sea units (undamage) you must spend supply tokens to enter them onto the board ?

2. If an artillery is involved in a sea attack, can it also be involved in a land attack?

USA lands on russian territories. No russians are there. Does USA claim these territories as their own and collect the IPCs? Or do they still belong to Russia?

I bought an aircraft carrier and 2 fighters. Can i put the fighters on the aircraft carrier right away?

if the aircraft carrier moves without the two fighters, do the two fights have to move in either combat or non combat or can they stay in the air for as long as they want?

2 questions

1. aircraft carrier has 2 fighters and moves 2 spaces to battle. are the fighters then involved in the battle? or is it just the aircraft carrier? if they are not involved in the battle, in the non-combat move can they then move another 2 spaces ??

2. can you buy an industrial complex at the beginning of your turn, then at the end of your turn put it on any territory (that you’ve own from the start of your turn) with your other new pieces?

we’re playing a 3 player game this weekend. last time we played a 3 player we  found it challenging for the allied player to keep track of 3 countries. any alternatives to a 3 player game? would it make more sense if 2 players were allies and 1 player played axis? :mrgreen:

1. i have a transporter between uk and france. I’ve used it (it didn’t move) to carry some men over to france. in my non-combat move can i move it…?

2. i have a tranporter that brought some men onto a territory, and my battleship was present to support the amphibious assult. after the battleship’s opening fire during battle, is it out for the rest of the battle, or does he continue attacking?

3. i was attaching india, duing the battle i lost all my artillery and tanks, except for a fighter, but succeeded in the attack. Can i still claim this terriroty with a plane left over? after my plane flies back, during my non-combat move i have some takes that will be able to move over to india.

2. i have a bomber (i’m japan) in fr. indochina. persia and india are owned by the uk, but do not  have any thing on them, and uk has an army in trans jordon, can i attack trans jordon with my japanese bomber AND claim theh 2 territories (persia and india) while i fly thru them.

3. When i purchase an antiaircraft gun can i put it anywhere or does it have to be by an ind complex?

4. During open fire (ie. antiaircraft gun, submarine, battleship during an amphibious assault), do i have to roll 1 on the die for the open fire to be successful?

5. there are no men in brazil yet. can a USA bomber attack (a sub near brazil) then fly back to brazil since it’s a USA territory? does he then get 3 more points?

so if i unload troops and i have a battleship and destroyer in the same sea territory i get a free shot on land for both the battleship and the destroyer?

i have a plane flying over 2 enemy antiaircraft guns…i understand they get free shots against me (1 each), but what happens on the way back? do they get another shot against me with their antiaircraft gun?

can someone explain to me if ships can fire onto land and if land can fire onto sea? if so who can fire (ie subs, destroyes, etc). :mrgreen:

when you’re moving a plane does every dotted line territory count as 1 movement? or if it is a territory that contains land and water is that 2 movements? i understand that an island in 1 sea zone territory is 1 territory, but I’m wondering about mainlands surrounded by water. ie. from washington to paris, is that 3 movements on a plane or 5?
