    • RE: It is in my grubby hands!

      I also pre ordered from FMG. Happy to support the cause…BUT…Still haven’t received an email that it has been shipped. I sent an email yesterday asking and I haven’t heard back on that either…I sure hope it has already shipped, we know you’ve had your copies since Monday…please give us an update on if/when these will ship. I’m in Dallas, TX and have waited for what seems like forever, (not on you necessarily but for the release of this game). I’m dying here!!!

      Thanks.

    • RE: How will you divide powers depending on the number of players?

      Is ANZAC big enough to stand alone? In Pacific I didn’t think so….don’t know if that will change in global…what say you?

    • RE: Table Situation???

      @WILD:

      I think a pong pong table will work great. You can find a used one on Craig’s List pretty cheap, or free some times.

      As for keeping the game boards together I used plastic runners that you get at a building supply co (Home Depo) for AA50 & Pac, worked great. They are thin plastic slotted strips that you put on the end of paneling or wall board. They come in 8 foot lengths, cut it to size (70 inches) for the top & bottom of the map to keep the sections together.

      Pics? Brand? Thanks. :wink:

    • RE: Table Situation???

      @marechallannes:

      My dinningroom-table is 2,60 m x 0.95 m. Enough for the global version.

      I connect the map pieces on the backside with a special crepe tape. That works and does not damage the map pieces.

      Where do you get your tape?? What’s it called, brand etc?

      Thanks.

    • Table Situation???

      This may have already been posted….but what are you doing about fitting this monster on a table where you don’t have to worry about knocking off the ends at any given moment. I have a big folding table, and I think I’ll buy another one and just put them together…I still have to figure out someway to make it level…any ideas??

      Also if you have a better table situation altogether please share or just whatever you’re doing in general.

      Thanks in advance! Can’t wait for the 24th!!!  8-)

    • RE: Compartments for Pacific storage boxes

      Do you simply fold these like the demonstration showed or are you using some sort of tape/glue to hold things together?

      Thanks in advance.

    • RE: Bob_A_Mickelson's Complete AAP40 Charts and Aids [1st Ed.]

      @fanofbond:

      What’s the best way to have these made?  Printing or having them made

      I wanted to ask the exact same thing. Are you just printing them on card stock or should I take the files to kinkos and get it done that way? It seems like someone was talking about this in another thread…any input on what’s working for you is much appreciated.

      Thanks for your work Bob, looks great.

    • RE: New National Production & National Objectives Chart

      Do you just print the Nat’l Prod chart Landscape on the legal paper then? Or is that pic on a regular 8.5X11"??

      Thanks in advance.

    • RE: New Hebrides

      I believe the answer is no. FIC seems to be the only one where this is the case.

    • RE: New National Production Chart!

      @Constantinople:

      The AA50 one has the chart and the Tech breakthroughs, so maybe the AAE 1940 will have the same.

      We can only hope! Don’t hold your breath though.

      If they want the global game to truly be the best ever they will take all of the complaints they are receiving now and put them in AAE40. Or at least logic would say that. WOTC and AH have thrown logic out before though.

      Either way I love Axis and Allies and will buy the game, I just hope they exceed expectations by under promising and over delivering.

      Fingers crossed

    • RE: Get rid of the cardboard

      National Production marker for this game only goes to 48?

      Seriously?

      WTF?

      Not to complain or anything but is this serious….? If they short us on the paper money I’m fine with that if the National Production goes to 70 or so, so we can follow it easily. Did I just mis-view that picture because that’s what it looks like. Is there two?

      I love this game and will find a way either way, just looking for a clarification, not a fight.  :evil:
