    • RE: Dems win in Jersey and Virginia governors races

All and all, a very good couple of days for the Dems. ANWR shot down, and two very effective races were won. Not only that, but every poll now has Bush’s approval ratings below 38%, and over 54% of the American people think he deliberately lied about Iraq’s WMDs, and over 50% want the Democrats to regain control of Congress. I love pollingreport.com

Although I haven’t seen these polls, I think this goes to the great saying, “If you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it.”  The Democrats are liars.  They constantly said Bush lied about WMDs.  They had no evidence, but their willing accomplices in the media didn’t ask for that.  I mean, why would they?  Dan Rather and Mary Mapps didn’t think they needed hard evidence either huh?  But Bush has done a terrible job striking back at the snake of the Democratic party.  He needed to learn at an early Presidential age that you cannot attrack the enemy to your side.  Offering the hand of peace will only receive poision ivy in return.  That is all he go from the Dems even after all the pandering he did to try to get them on board with him.  Unfortunetaly, he also didn’t fully attack his critics about Iraq either.  He needed to come out every week explaining all the victories we’ve won there including all of the terrorists we’ve killed.  Believe me, people would have stuck with Iraq more if the President had kept up with his critics.  I do realize that when you have an 80% Anti-Bush media constantly reporting all of the negative in Iraq instead of showing the positive things happening, you’re going to see public opinion drop.  Bush needed to pull a Regan and go over the heads of the liberal media straight to the people.  Unfortunately, he hasn’t done that and yes, a lot of people are wondering why we are still in Iraq.  People like me understand what is at stake and are in it for the long hall, but I also believe that we need to have the president constantly tell us that this is a fight that needs to be won and have him show the statistics of our success.  But most people in this country are ignorant and just plain dumb.  They don’t check out the facts and after a while, start to believe what the Democrats say about Bush with the help of the liberal media.

Bush doesn’t have a chance unless he goes back to the people.  You cannot stay silent when your enemies like Dick “The Turban” Durban are out there blasting you and calling you a liar and a war criminal.  You have to strike back…and hard.  Bush has tried to take the high road, which is honorable, but there is no high-road in politics.  Yanny, you also have to admit that there is too much anti-Bush media out there.  On top of that, most conservatives and republicans didn’t feel the need to vote.  Maybe that’ll change in 2006, and I hope it does, because I fear for this nation if Democrats take over.

And by the way, to all you Bush critics that think he is a war criminal, I want all you two faced liberal hipocrits to right here and right now condemn FDR and Harry Truman for their fascism for destroying two countries.  One with firebombings and the other with a nuclear holocaust.  Until you do that, keep your anti-Bush war criminal criticisms to yourself.  I am sick and tired to listening to a bunch of hipocrits like yourselves.  Freeing people is not a war crime.  If it was, Clinton would be a war criminal for Kosovo!Â

I wish we’d drill in ANWR.  We have to reduce our dependancy on Foreign oil.  The Dems keep up that mantra except they prevent our own drilling in this country thanks to the tree huggers.  If you want to be energy independent, we have to drillfor oil in this country!

True,  young people don’t care much about elections.  I regretably must also say that I didn’t vote yesterday either.  I am guilty of the laziness that is gripping my country to death.  Of course, no one was running in my area that I cared to vote for.  As far as I’m concerned, people have to work for my vote, it’s not just something I give away without thinking.

Occupation entails authority.  The US Army or government has no ruling authority or power in Iraq; hell, the legitimate Iraqi government can tell us to leave and we should if that happens.  Before the Iraqi government was established, we could have been called occupiers, but not anymore.

That’s a pretty good statement.  Iraq is running itself.  We’re just there to keep the peace since Iranian, Syrian, and Saudi Arabian jihadists want to turn Iraq back into a dictatorship.  We’re fighting to prevent that.  We’re not the enemy in the middle east.  The muslim terrorists are.  Just open your eyes to that.  Do you honestly think that France could have provided a free Iraq (hahahaha)?Â

The United States wouldnt’ have had to invade if France had stepped up and forced Iraq to comply.  All the Iraq goverment would have had to do to avoid invastion was to comply.  Allow total access to all weapons programs without interference.  Eventhough, Saddam allowed inspectors back in before the war, he continued to interfer like Hans Blix said.  Saddam would still be sitting in power and you people (F_alk, Crypt, and Mary) could still be happy about that.  Since you don’t think the war was a good idea, you must also believe that Saddam was a great ruller and that he should have remained in power torturing and murdering his population.  Hey, it’s only a few hundred thousand people that he killed over the course of his reign, rigth?

I don’t know whether you guys are ignorant or what, but ignorance is damn dangerous in the world we all live in today.  Trying to bury your head in the sand and pretend the bad guys don’t exist is the surest way to have them come after you when you least expect it.  It happened to us in the US before 9/11 during the Clinton years and it is now happening to France with the riots.

    • RE: C.I.A. Sponsored Gulags?

you haven’t even demonstrated that they are terrorists.  The US has repeatedly demonstrated that it does not believe in the ideas of “trials” so basically you have convicted people without a trial.  I hope this happens to you one day.

Considering the fact the the US goverment has let some detainees go especially from Gitmo, I think that it’s a good possiblity that the ones we still have are more than likely terrorists, don’t you?

“torcher” does not work.  Everyone knows this.  And the US military DOES “torcher” people to death - this has been demonstrated in several autopsies.

And just where exactly is your evidence of this.  Please, Moveon.org does not count.  The US military does not torture people.  Oh and by the way, putting ladies panties on a terrorists’s head is not torture.

it’s just such a joke that the US does everything that it used as a basis for invading Iraq.  WMD’s, invading other nations, torturing people, killing civilians etc.  You have no credibility.  I realize that you don’t care - but you might as well be aware that few people (outside of you and your buddies) are buying it anymore

You can buy what ever you want crypt.  I didn’t realize you hated freedom so much.  I’m sure that according to you, you’d just as well let Iraqi civilians go back to brutal dictatorships like Iraq had under Saddam instead of giving them a fighting chance at freedom.  Sheesh, where do you get off lecturing me?  At least I believe in freedom.

Were there any WMD’s there prior to the war?  So far the evidence is - No.  I say “so far” because even Bill Clinton said back in 1998 when he launched three days worth of cruise missles (killing God knows how many civilians, where is your outrage there?) that Saddam’s WMD’s posed a grave threat.

So people trying to kill US troops are terrorists?  What does that make US troops trying to kill Iraqi troops or civilians?  I thought this was a “war”?Â

Good question, and one that is easily answered.  If you are not wearing a uniform and are trying to kill US troops, you are a terrorist.  That’s what differentiates these muslim terrorists from the Kamakazis of Japan.  The Kamakazis wore uniforms.   :-o

Anyway you have not appropriately defined terrorism, and i don’t even think you can properly apply a label to someone who has not been demonstrated to be committing terrorist acts.  Have you even properly convicted one person who you have in Gitmo, Abu Gharab or your secret CIA prisons?  What difference is there between the way you deal with people that you “arrest” and the way SH dealt with people he “arrested”?  None of them got a fair trial.  Face it - GW is SH, but with a lot more power behind him.  He is as evil as SH is.  Too bad that USans are being painted with the same brush as he

You are as evil and misguided as you accuse me of being.  Sheesh.  GW is not Saddam.  GW believes in freedom, Saddam did not.  I don’t agree with all of what GW does and says, but I do agree that this war in Iraq must be won.

Convicting terrorists?  I really do not care.  As long as they can’t get us, They could be burried in a hole for all I care.

Terrorism = Killing and destroying individuals or property in an effort to shape a world view based off of a Muslim Fascist policy.  Muslim Fascism is Hitler with a headscarf.

Even your judges disagree with you.

      And which would those be?

Simplistic and misleading. The Geneva Conventions do cover civil war and resistance against occupation. So, your initial “If-then” is just painful to the eyes.

These terrorists are not fighting for anyone’s freedom.  If you think they are, then you are painful to the eyes.

Weren’t these positions already filled by democrats?  I don’t see what the big deal is.

I don’t recall anyone making a big deal out of 3 republican senators retiring in 2002 and 3 republicans reclaiming those seats.Â

It is still earlly for celebrations for the democrats and for doom and gloom for the republicans.Â

2006 will be the make or break year for both sides.

George W Bush needs to get his act together and realign himself with his conservative base in order to win needed seats in both the house and senate.

The democrats need to come up with legitimate and tangible ideas for the problems facing the country (ie, Borders, Taxation, Iraq, Terrorism, etc.) if they are to have any chance in 2006.  The Hate Bush bandwagon is not the way to power.  Ideas are key.  You may or may not agree with Bush’s ideas on Iraq, Terrorism, and Taxation, but at least he has a plan (I leave out borders as Pres. Bush has not significantly addressed this growing crisis in the South).

      Sigh…

Terrorists can’t win?  Please, the US military does not torcher people.  I don’t even care if the CIA does or not.  If these people are trying to kill Americans and are captured, then yeah, let’s find out what they know.

I think your argument is a little shallow though.  Saddam didn’t torcher Al Zaquari when he went there for surgery… :-o

If these people are trying to kill US troops, then they are terrorists.  Terrorists have no statutes in the Geneva Convention.  Bush/Cheney do not torcher people.  But if they do and they find out useful intelligence on upcoming terrorists plots, more power to them.

Sorry, I also stopped reading after this point as well, Mary.  Victory was won a while ago with you.

F_alk, I don’t even bother responding to your posts anymore.  It is not worth my time.

I am a firm believer in my philosophy.  Whether you agree with it or not is not my concern.  What I will say to all of this is this:  When a great nation such as the United States will stand up for anyone in need and never ask for a thing in return except friendship and then have those so-called friends (i.e. France) to stab us in the back every chance they get because of their arrogant nature, yeah, I’m going to curse out at France.  Especially France.

Look what those idiots in the French press said about America after Katrina hit.  It was all a bunch of celebratory banter congratulating themselves on what a find nation they have and that they don’t have the problems America has while enjoying the misery of the citizens of New Orleans.  Now all of a sudden, Muslim terrorists are burning schools, buildings, cars, property in over 300 cities with no end in site thanks to a weak-kneed, liberal pandering, social inept French governemtn under Chirac.

Yes, Now France gets theirs!  Thousands of US servicemen died to liberate that country and they have not paid one whit in return.

So yes,  I say with much glee……“BURN FRANCE BURN”…and I will smile when I do it, especiallly if it makes the libs angry.

Well, the rioters sure as heck aren’t white Frenchmen.  They are muslims.  Plain and simple.  I agree that there is a vast amount of racism in France that has finally boiled over, but the Muslim religious leaders in France have been pushing their aggitation onto their masses and now it has finally spilled over.

Also, a random drive by shooting is not on the same scale as total anarchy in 300 French towns and villages including Paris where these cities are burning.  We have law and order in this country when things go bad.  In France, well, they try their little appeasement approach, then they try to pretend that it’ll work out.  Result?  Billions of dollars worth of destruction.  Enjoy France.  Socialist policies do not work.

I still prefer the approach of sticking them in a hole and not letting them out again.  Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t want to see those savages to see the light of day again so they can kill more innocent people.

Whether or not secret prisons will help or hurt the cause is open to debate.  I’m for them for the simple fact that we cannot bring them anywhere in the US due to our liberal population that believes that all people (including muslim killers) have a right to an attorney.  That type of thinking is outdated and dangerous.

A high moral standard is great, but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire if you’re going to burn out the other’s flame.  Violence is the true law of the middle east.  It is the only thing they respect.  Holding hands will not make them like us.  Appeasement under Clinton didn’t work.  Cutting and running out of Somalia didn’t help.  We have to win, period.  I dont’ care how many of them we have to kill to get there, I just don’t want to see an American die because we didn’t act.  That includes tourchering prisoners if they know about an upcomming attack on the US.  Including a nuclear attack.  Time will tell.

A liberal president was the one that started concentration camps for Japanese Americans in WWII and no one batted an eye.  Remember that as well.

So what if the CIA is sponsoring Gulags for captured terrorists.  These terrorists would slit your throat if they had the chance.  And on top of that, they’re not protected by the Geneva Convention, so, yeah, let’s dig a hole, throw them in it, and put a bamboo shoot over them.

Did any of you complain to what the Chinese, North Koreans, and North Vietnamese did to our POWs?

I’m glad President Bush has the knowledge and intelligence to put these people in camps across the globe and away from the US where the Terrorist sympathizers in the Democratic party and the ACLU can’t give these killers lawyers.  Lawyers for terrorists.  YIKES!!!

Did anyone forget 9/11?  Don’t ever forget what evil people can do.  Sometimes the only way to make muslim killers respect you is by a brutal display of power and force.  That is the only way things are finalized.  That is the way war is won.

    • Operation: SEALION - 1940

Hello all, I have been working on a variant concerning the invasion of Britian by the Germans in 1940. Here is what I have so far for all those interested in this WWII variant.

The game will play exactly like D-Day. This invasion takes place at the end of September 1940. This is in an assumption that Hitler would have continued his attack against the RAF instead of his idiotic decision to bomb London in September. As you know, the German Luffwaffe was winning the war of atrition against the RAF, and the RAF had its back against the wall. Assuming Hitler would hold off on bombing London, the Werhmacht would probably have enough air superiority to at least be able to protect the landing zones.

I have based the invasion off a section of Britian just like D-Day is a section of Normandy. It will be a 10 turn game based on 21 phases instead of D-Day’s 16. This is due to Britian and Germany both having an air force. Britian will have 4 fighters and Germany will have 8 fighters and 2 bombers. Fighters on either side can either straff units moving into or out of zones or they can dogfight one another on a ratio of 1 to 1. Also, British fighters can also straff the beachhead boxes the Nazis will be using to cross the Channel. If Germany has fighters protecting the invasion force, it will result in a dog fight. I know this probably sounds a little confusing so I will give you all this brief overview and if you’re all still interested in the scenario, I will send more detail as I already know how the game will play.

The game map will play from Brighton in the West to Dover in the East and London in the North. The map is already drawn, I just have to trace and scan. Britian will have blockhouses to attack the German invaders, but they would be lacking significant armored support as the BEF lost many of its tanks on the retreat to Dunkirk, meaning that the BEF and French Freedom fighters in England would have to do the best with infantry.

Germany will be divided amongst two players: One to control Army Group A consisting of the 9th and 6th Armies and Army Group B consisting of the 16th Army and 6th Army. Each army will have 4 fighters and a bomber that will follow the same rules of D-Day except the fighters can also choose to dogfight the RAF.

Please note that I have based my scenario off of what historical evidence there was at the time. Germany only stated what Armies were to be used, but no mention is made of number of divisions or what types of divisions would be used, so I will have to make them up as I go. Also, original plans of SeaLion consisted of Paratroopers supporting the 9th Army near Dover and the 16th Army near Brighton. As a result, the game will appear very similar to D-Day in terms of paratroopers. Also the Germans were also going to implement their new U-Wagen (U-Paner) that would travel under the channel using tubes for exhause and air intake with the tank being completely sealed. This will also be represented in the game and these tanks will be immune to strafing in the Channel or from Blockhouse fire.

There will be 20 Order Cards
There will also be 20 corresponding Fortune Cards

There are also 20 Tactics Cards - Both sides (Axis and Allies) having 10 each. These will be obtained at the end of each turn depending on a die roll. Five of these 10 will help the player while the other 5 hurt their enemy. They will be shuffled and picked up at random. More to come later.

Well, I hope this sounds interesting. For more info about the invasion, please visit my website:

After all, in terms of contribution to the national debt, Red states are generally in the hole while Blue ones are in the black.

Dude, Blue states contain all the big cities.  Big cities tend to generate more revenue thus more tax dollars.  This is the only reason why the blue states would contribute more to the national debt.  It has nothing to do with conservative or liberal politics, just demographics.

The funny thing about these French riots is the fact that the political leadership of Jack in the box Chirac is doing nothing about it, because it allready has probably capitulated and flown back flown back to southern france to restart another Vichy France thing. If this problem happened in America, Bush would have sent in the military and we would be done with them. But France has no policy to fight against agression, rather it wants to appease itself with just “allowing” the problem to solve itself. No wonder they opposed Iraq…they have not the means to defend even themselves from revolution. Excellent!

Very well said!  Let’s keep our eyes open to the inevitable French surrender!  :-D  When the Rodney King riots ran rampant in California, did they spill over into the whole country?  NO!

When a goverment appears weak like the Chirac goverment, these riots will only worsen.  When you don’t confront it in the first few days, that shows how weak a goverment is.Â

Think Chirac will survive this incident.  I’m betting he might step down if there is a Paris left standing.

      BURN FRANCE BURN!!!

PS: Imperious, check my site soon,  I’ll have SEALION’s map out there in a couple of days for you to see.  I won’t get the whole game done before thanksgiving, though.

Mary, once again your ingnorance is unparralleled.

For one, comparing what happened to Katrina with muslims burning cities to the ground is a stretch.

Second, let’s talk about Katrina for a bit.  It is the PRIMARY responsibility of the State and Local goverment to supply food and water to their people.  NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERMENT!!!  On that bright and cheery note, state representatives even prevented food from teh Red Cross to be distributed at the stadium because they didn’t want any more people showing up there.  Very compationate liberals wouldn’t you say?  Stay with me, Mary because this is crucial for your education.  The whole situation in Louisiana could have been instantly solved if the Governor had called in the national guard.  Instead, what did that liberal woman do?  She threw up her hands and said, "Federal goverment, please come and save me and my state."  She didn’t even make an attempt to help those people in Louisiana.  Let’s talk about the mayor for a minute as well or should I say, the lack of one since he and his family high-tailed it out of there into Texas and let New Orleans suffer its fate.  And let’s not forget all the state revenue that was supposed to go to reinforcing the levies.  Where did it go?  To new casinos in New Orleans!  Brillian liberal thinking.  And now that Casino is destroyed!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Let’s compare a republican state like Texas to a liberal one like Louisiana for a minute as well Mary and you’ll see that you’re way off base here in terms of your liberal philosophy.

      Texas:
      Orderly evacuation.
Told people to stay away even after the hurricane was gone due to danger.
      6 looters - all arrested
      Republican mayor last to leave.
      Texas looked after its own.
      No deaths.

      Louisiana:
      No evacuation.
Mayor told people to come on back eventhough another hurricane was heading that way and Bush had to step in and say, "No!"   (You won’t give Bush the credit for that I fear.)
      Lots of looters, no arrests
      Liberal mayor first to leave.
Louisiana immediately threw up hands and begged for federal assistance.  No state or local attempt to help people in New Orleans or surrounding areas (Cops went AWOL).
Needless deaths (expecially of the elderly)

I could go on Mary, but I’m putting you to shame.  The point is the reason Texas is so successful and Louisiana is underwater is because TEXAS IS A REPUBLICAN STATE!!!  Did you know that the lowest crime rate is in Texas?  Why?  Because people can carry handguns.  Washington, DC (A liberal district) does not allow people to carry guns and has one of the highests rates of crime in the nation.  Cooincidence, I think not.

Parallel to France:  Socialist goverment.  People can’t bear arms.  No military whatsoever.  No political backbone = NO PROTECTION FOR THE PEOPLE WHEN MUSLIM TERRORISTS ATTACK!

Let’s talk about FEMA, it’s own policy stated that it couldn’t offer substantial assistance until 72 hours later.  DUH!  They’re expecting state and local goverments to handle things so aid can come in from FEMA.  Apparently liberal politicians are too dumb to realize that.

FEDERAL GOVERMENT IS NOT A FIRST CALL ORGANIZATION FOR LOCAL DISASTERS!!!Â

Okay Mary, that’s one for me, zero for you!

After 13 days?  This is a prime example of what to expect from a socialist French goverment.  Sit on your butt and hope for the best.

By the way, how many times have you heard in the media that these acts of terror are being committed by muslims?  As angered as I am that muslims are again on the rampage, I am sitting back and silently hoping that France burns to the ground for all their anti-Americanism.
