    • Operation: Market Garden - 1944

      Hello all!

I have a new game in development for my website. The scenario is Operation: Market Garden. In it, it will contain the nine grueling days in Holland following Air operations for the First Parachute Army as well as the ground advances of XXX Corps and secondary advances by XII Corps, VIII Corps, and the US First Army.

This game will follow the same card structure as my previous WWII game, Operation: Sealion. However, victory conditions will be more intense for the Allies as well as for the German army. In addition to needing the bridges across Holland secure, secondary objectives that XII Corps, VIII Corps, the US First Army must complete will either enhance or decrease the XXX Corps’ chances of victory in making it all the way to Arnhem and over the bridge before the British First Airborne is destroyed. These secondary armies will not be able to assist XXX Corps unless they complete their objectives.

As always, Theater Event Cards will add certain risk elements as well as benefits and hinderances to both sides.

As soon as I get the map finished, I will post a link.

    • RE: Losing the War Osammy bint Ladin offers truce…

Tell me, why did you leave out the Oklahoma City bombing??

I thought that was quite obvious.  I was showing the 95% of terrorists are muslim.  I have many more examples if you’d like them.

I appreciate you also trying to find examples of the other 5%, but the point of the post was the “majority” of terrorists.

Hope that this clears things up.

As far as your “hating muslims” thing goes, when muslim terrorists kill 3,000 of your countrymen without provocation, it comes down to two things: You or them and it’s not going to be me or my family.  If you want to live in a bubble where you think the world is nice and friendly, that’s your choice.  But when those of a certain religious group have threatened to kill you and your family, you have to take a look at what religious group is doing that.  The answer should be obvious.  What you do with it is up to you.  I for one want to know who my enemy is.

You know, RB… you should have said, “do not trust the terrorist.” Adding the word muslim sides on being prejudice which wouldn’t surprise me at all. It’s little side notes like this that pushes me further and further away from Christianity. One of many many reasons I left the church and ceased to be a Christian.

Please answer this multiple choice questionaire before responding:

      1. The terrorists on 9/11 were:
      a. The boy scouts
      b. The ACLU
      c. Canadians
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      2. The Bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 was done by:
      a. The Irish
      b. The girl scouts
      c. Germans
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      3. The bombing of the USS Cole was done by:
      a. Postal workers.
      b. Playboy centerfolds.
      c. Germans.
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      4. Suicide bombers in Israel are:
      a. Postal workers.
      b. Disgruntaled ground hogs.
      c. British.
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      5. The bombings in Africa in the 1990s were committed by:
      a. UCLA
      b. Canadians
      c. Mexicans
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      6. Terrorists in Iraq who are cutting people’s heads off are:
      a. Canadians
      b. Brazilians
      c. Disgruntaled CNN workers due to declining ratings
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      7. Killers of Iraqi school children are:
      a. Woodchucks
      b. Mexicans
      c. the ACLU
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

      8. The bombings in Bali were commited by:
      a. Postal workers
      b. Mexicans
      c. Irish immigrants
      d. Muslims between the ages of 18 and 35.

I could go on, but I feel that this quiz is quite redundant.

If you answered D for all of these, then congratulations, you have identified which part of the world poses the greatest danger to peace and freedom of individuals.  If you missed any of these, shame on you.  You haven’t been paying attention to world events.

This little quiz is designed to show that approximately 95% of the worlds terrorists are……muslim.  Sorry if this offends, but this is the truth.  Sometimes, the truth hurts those that do not want to admit it.

Well, we just killed the #4 man over the weekend in Pakistan.

Don’t be fooled by truce.  Muslim terrorists in the style of Muhammed only ask for truces in order to build up strength for the next attack.  That is all this is.  Remember what Muhammad did when he signed a truce.  He built up his strength and attacked his enemy.

Do not trust the muslim terrorist.

It has to carry a minimum sentence.

Not necessarily.  Most  states do not have a minimum prision sentence for Child Rapists.  Meghan’s law gives a minimum of 25 years in prison but it is not law in all states.  Unfortunetaly, Vermont does not have this legislation.  It’s sad when a child’s life does not hold the same weight as an adult’s.

    • RE: Comparing Iraq 2005 with Germany 1945

Without Germany declaring War on the cowardous US which wouldn’t dare to enter the war on their own, we probably would have won. So, you didn’t save us from total soviet occupation, you introduced the threat of total soviet occupation.
I wonder how many problems the US has solved that would never have been problems had the US not existed the first place.

PS: If you think that characterising the population of a nation by an adjective with a semi-appropriate reasoning to explain that characterisation is “insulting”, you might wonder what the rest of world thinks of you if one of your kind calls a billion of people “fuckers”.

And how many wars has your nation won?

Stop with the personal attacks F_alk, you marginalize yourself with that kind of crap.

If I remember correctly, Germans elected Hitler to power through a democratic process.  Yes, they are responsible for the atrocities commited by your “army that could have won the war.”

If your army had won the war without the “cowardly US getting involved”, All Jews in Europe would have been slaughtered by your nations brutal system.  Are you saying you wished that would happen?Â

No, I don’t think he is.

It took the US, USSR, Britian, France, and other nations to put a stop to the atrocities committed by your people.

Rebuilding your nation after the war was a great gesture of mercy by the allies considering what your nation committed against the rest of the world in terms of destruction and atrocities.  I for one am one glad American that my nation interviened and your nation lost.

It showed that most crimes were hunger- and coldness-related.

It’s a shame that Hitler didn’t surrender earlier.  That could have been avoided.  Unfortunetaly, Germany didn’t surrender and brought on itself all the hardships thereafter.

Although the Marsha plan did restore Germany after the war.  I wonder where Germany would have been without America saving it from total Soviet occupation.Â

Well, we can agree or disagree on this issue.  I think it is necessary, you all might not.  I don’t see why we should allow these muslim killers to use the freedoms we enjoy to kill thousands of Americans again.  If  9/11 wasn’t a wake up call, I don’t know what is.  Putting up the Clinton wall again between agencies is not the answer.  Secure the border, Secure our country.

By the way, glad to hear from you Jennifer.  Hope things are going well.

    • RE: A victory for the terrorists

How does adding congressional and judicial oversight to Patriot Act I powers, and including sunset clauses to make such powers permanent, going to do harm to national security? Because that is all we are talking about. Safeguards against abuse of power. The bi-party opposition to the Patriot Act II are simply trying to modify the new bill.

Yanny, I’d like you to answer something for me.  How has your life been impacted by the Patriot Act?  Mine hasn’t, so what’s the big friggin deal if the US wiretaps and listens in on suspected Al Qaeda terror cells in an attempt to break them up.  The Buffalo Six was caught this way.  I don’t know why you are all about “privacy”.  Can you give me an instance where your privacy has been violated by this act?

As a response to the above quote, Yanny, I don’t have the slightest idea what you are talking about.  I’m sure the sunset clauses as you put them were in place in case we didn’t need the patriot act any more.  Unfortunetaly, muslim terrorists are not stopping with their intent to murder as many Americans as they can.  With the porus border to our south, we need to have this act to watch out for those who are trying to come into this country to kill us.  Again, what abuse of power?  My rights haven’t been affected and neither have yours.  If terrorists and criminals in this country feel threatened by the patriot act, I have one response:  GOOD!

Terrorism is all hype?  Are you nuts?  Tell me how those savages killed 3,000 Americans or did those planes just go off course?

Yanny, even you can see that the terrorists on 9/11 used the freedoms that everyday Americans take for granted to kill 3,000 Americans.  What price will you put on your security next time?  Do 5,000 people have to die?  Do 10,000?  The patriot act is a vital tool to allow goverment agencies to find these terror cells in this country.  The patriot act does not affect honest, every day Americans.  Those who have committed no crimes don’t have any thing to fear from the PA.  I for one don’t fear it.  What I fear is those in this country trying to undermine our war on terror in the guise of “privacy”.  That is utter bullcrap.  All those Democratic senators (as you said 99 voted for it) care about now is trying to hurt Bush.  Why?  Because of pure idiological hate.  That is not a reason to put American lives in danger.  That patriot act must be allowed to stay, otherwise, well, wake up to CSPAN, Yanny when they tell you a nuclear weapon was detonated in New York City.  Then let me know if it was worth having or not.

    • A victory for the terrorists

It is a sad day in America.  The Patriot Act’s 16 most important provisions have been voted down by the US Senate.  The terrorsts have been handed their first victory by gutless American politicians.  It can be truly said that the terrorists cannot defeat us on the battlefield.  They must win their battles against us with their left-wing supporters in the Democratic Party and the weak-kneed politicians on the Republican side.  I am ashamed of each and every one of them that are against this important piece of legislation that has kept America safe from the evil of terrorism these past 4 years.  Without these provisions, we are now going to be going back to the Clinton era where information sharing was not allowed and led to 9/11.  God help us now in our time of need.  We are in desparate need of it.  The next attack is coming and those Senators will be to blame.
