Hello all!

I have a new game in development for my website. The scenario is Operation: Market Garden. In it, it will contain the nine grueling days in Holland following Air operations for the First Parachute Army as well as the ground advances of XXX Corps and secondary advances by XII Corps, VIII Corps, and the US First Army.

This game will follow the same card structure as my previous WWII game, Operation: Sealion. However, victory conditions will be more intense for the Allies as well as for the German army. In addition to needing the bridges across Holland secure, secondary objectives that XII Corps, VIII Corps, the US First Army must complete will either enhance or decrease the XXX Corps’ chances of victory in making it all the way to Arnhem and over the bridge before the British First Airborne is destroyed. These secondary armies will not be able to assist XXX Corps unless they complete their objectives.

As always, Theater Event Cards will add certain risk elements as well as benefits and hinderances to both sides.

As soon as I get the map finished, I will post a link.

This would stop the very irritating habit of moderators posting a personal, heated opinion and then locking out any counter arguments.  Just reading this thread I know I’m not the only person irritated by that too common occurrence that frequents these boards.

The US and NATO invade Serbia to end the ethic cleansing in Kosovo. NATO invades into Kosovo while the US conducts an amphibous landing in Montenegro. Russia joins sides with Serbia.

President Kennedy gives the green light for the invasion of Cuba.

Opertion Downfall - 1946

Operation: Iraqi Freedom

My personal favorite! Set up like D-Day, the German 6th, 9th, and 16th armies must push into Britian and capture London.

The Second Korean War
The Korean penninsula erupts in conflict again. The game pits the US, South Korea, North Korea, and China in the desperate fight for dominance. The war has the potential to spill over into a Chinese invasion of Taiwan as well as becoming nuclear.

Vietnam Conflict

Yes, it wasn’t easy.  There were two city battles that were the result of luck and kept me going or I would have been defeated as America must hold 13 cities.

Fortunetaly, I was able to destroy the bombers for both the Soviet and Central Americans and that caused their attacks to be much less effective. Then I was able to wear them down by constantly retreating.

It was awesome!

I am PROUD to say that last night, March 31st, I Rune Blade, after 4 unsuccessful attempts at defending the homeland, that on the 5th try, I was VICTORIOUS with America and defeated my other three friends!!!

Rune Blade - the bad a** weapon from Final Fantasy VII.  The name kinda stuck for me and now I post it on anything I do online.  I even sign my games with “Rune Blade”.

As far as my “a”, I found this cute one of my son when he was one.

Oh also, maximise use of the giant friggen lazer beams.

Yeah, that’s what I meant by destroy the Soviet’s bomber squadron.  I had my opponent out of Bombers and was forcing him to fight me one-on-one in the cities of Pittsburgh, Cinncinnati, etc.  I could have won the dang game that I played except I my stupid forces couldn’t capture a city that was occupied by one infantry.  Gaaaaaa.  Still can’t claim a win with America, but I know the strategy now.

I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY THIS GAME THROUGH EMAIL OR FORUM IF ANYONE CAN GET IT.
