Thank you for the information Geze, I have to admit I study World War 2 alot but often neglected Bulgaria, not on purpose But at the sametime I should of tried harder.
Hmmmm. Despite the fact that you would screw up the time-line. How about this:
Give Ukrane to the Soviets and…actually on second thought I would rather play something simply like RR or the reverse order. But like I said and you thought too Zero, this might be a bit too strong.
i play with the winter, infantry are effected also- need a pair of 1’s to get a hit. also spring means mud in russia so all axis tanks move 1 space instead of 2.
I think it is one thing to potentially threaten the German transport and another actually going after it (at least with Russian FTRs). Personally I would never take the a risk like that. Those Russian FTRs are nearly impossible to replace and you need every bit of offensive trading power when the Ukr/ENO/Nov/Kaz battles present themselves. I suggest leaving the clearing of the German navy up to the USA or UK.
I never said it was a good idea, all I said was that it is a possibility.
That’s weird considering that Chonqing was the Kuotomitang capital of China under Chiang Kai-Sek but it does make sense that taking China wont get Japan a victory.
SUD - But that was part of his “magic”. He always tried to read the enemies’ intentions and weaknesses. He never claimed to be always correct in any tactical situation, and clearly was wrong at times. A good example was his obsession with Tobruk. Your point is perhaps his most visited critique (along with his insistence with being up at the front hampering communications). But the equation mostly worked out in his favor…
