    • RE: India Liberates South Africa

      @FieldMarshalGames:

      Does another Ally have to enter OR Liberate a territory to collect the IPC income when a Nation has fallen?

      Liberate, it must be captured by an enemy before, then it recaptured and is given to the capturing power, not the original power, until their capital is liberated.

      @Gargantua:

      No offense,

      but sounds like you just need a few more games under your belt.  You wouldn’t buy  Russian battleships in Original 1982 Axis and Allies for a reason.

      It’s the same for Calcutta.

      Just play some more games, you’ll figure it out, you’re not necessary doing anything wrong at all.

      Well I’ve got less than 20 games of all A&A, and this is my first 1940 game.  Thanks tho, will keep this in mind for round 2 ;)

      So by Turn 4 Japan has taken Calcutta, and reduced China to 3 territories.  Their navy is so strong that it continues to hold back the US, who was went to war Turn 1, and has spent nearly everything in the Pacific.  Their production is nearing the US’s  The rolling has been pretty even, maybe slightly toward Japan.  What am I doing wrong?

    • RE: Convoy questions!

      @MacNaughton:

      I’ve got a question too.
      During the collect income phase, it is possible to have lose money due to convoy raids creating a net loss?
      For instance, if London’s income comes from only United Kingdom and Scottland (income = 8), and there are four subs in sz 109 and a sub in sz 119 (convoy raid = -10), does London have to give up 2 IPCs that it had saved from the previous turn?

      No, cuz then nothing would be "convoy"ed

    • Russia Turn 2

      I’m on turn 2 of Russia, and my Germany has not attacked, and I doubt will, due to the 5 IPC bonus to Germany.  Anyways, should I retreat my troops one space back, or keep them all on the frontlines?  He has more than enough equipment to destroy everything I can put on the frontlines.

    • RE: Two Types of British Control Markers?

      @Pvt.Ryan:

      That one is the Union Jack. Their isn’t really a specific use for them but they just give you some. I thought it was the Pacific control marker at first but its not. I guess their just freebees so use your imagination  :-)

      That’s weird lol

    • Two Types of British Control Markers?

      I know this is a noob question, and I’ve searched, but why are there the standard types of British control markers, and then ones fashioned like the flag?

    • USA Atlantic or Pacific

      I’m a newer player, playing against an experienced player, OOB.  I’ve heard that it’s easier for the Allies to win if the US goes for the Pacific, but I’m unsure, as they have very large amounts of airforce.  Thanks for responses.
