I would have to side with Imperial Japanese Army…when u are trained to fight till your last breath…that has got to be some serious brainwashing…BANZAI!!!

For me…there is only ONE Desert Fox…Field Marshall Erwin Rommel…He attacked like a tornado…where he went…there was only VICTORY…if only Hitler had given him the support he asked for in North Africa…who knows how that campaign would have ended?

I agree with you guys…the German Tiger tank i agree was the best all around tank in the war…

if the Japanese had attacked Pearl a third time and destroyed the fuel depot and oil reserves…that would have damaged the US a lot more than if they lost ALL their battleships in the harbor…

However…if the US had lost the battle of Midway…i agree with a lot of the posters here…it would have prolonged the war maybe an extra year…thats about it…

Rem:  The US had broken the JN5 code and knew practically everything what the Japs were going to do…also…US war production was AWESOME!!!..Yamamoto said so…the US had access to better production facilities than the Japanese did…

sooner or later…the Japanese would have started running out of materials and trained pilots, soldiers and sailors to continue the Pacific War

we usually play until we see the writing on the wall…basically…the game goes while Japan has a chance to capture the six victory cities…when it looks like they cant do that…the game is pretty much done and we reset…

youre right of course…i think they added the political rules for extra flavor of the game…also…it looks like they borrowed some rules from another game called THE WAR GAME: World War II

I have that game but dont play it…

i dont think its possible…ive looked at the board and unless Japan gets some MAJOR dice…i really dont see Japan killing USA…

If Japan goes after the US full force…they might have to give up Asia and the SW Pacific altogether…

It might not be possible to fight on all fronts…although if anyone has ever taken the US…give me a blow by blow record…

played one game where Japan attacked on T2…got a very interesting setup after that where Japan already had knocked out the Phillipines…but…sometimes the dice just dont go your way though…how about 3 bombers at a 4 or less…3 fighters and 3 or less…and 3 tanks at a 3 or less…

on 9 dice…rolled 5 sixes and 4 fives…talk about FOG of war…

after that attack…Japan lost all tanks and 2 fighters…japan was on the defense in asia after that disaster
