      'Sup!  Been almost two years since I’ve played (coincided with child #2), looking for someone to play AA50, '41, NO, no tech…it would be my first such game, so ideally against someone similarly inexperienced with AA50, but also more than happy to be taken to school by the more experienced players…

      No big pressure to play fast, my game play will likely be slower during the week, faster on weekends.

      not sure if u got this one yet, but Saigon victory city in FIC should be Shanghai in Kiangsu.  Also, placements were off in the original map file for 1942, I’ve included corrected placements below in case it’s helpful…cheers and thanks for doing this!

      I have another question though:
      The rules state that, during an amphibious assault, “a transport must either offload all units that were loaded during the Combat Move phase or retreat during sea combat. It may also offload any number of units owned by the transport’s power that already were on the board at the start of the turn.”

      Does this mean that if I load 2 inf in turn N, and I amphibiously assault some territory in turn N+1, that I don’t have to disembark both of my inf, but that 1 inf may stay in the transport? (because they weren’t loaded during the Combat Move phase)

      HolKann, my understanding is that if you, prior to the current turn, loaded TWO units onto a transport, you can choose to only unload ONE of them during combat (since they weren’t both loaded during the same combat turn).  I don’t think GDC’s answer made this clear, he basically just said you could attack with previously loaded units.

      Yes, it’s a Chinese unit, so it counts.

      Krieghund, don’t the instructions say that the fighter is an American unit (even though it can coordinate attack w infantry), which would imply it can stack w 3 chinese infantry?

      hey thanks HolKann, works now.  However, for the 1942 I made several corrections to the map’s unit placements per the instructions that I received with the game.  Also, please note that one of the Japanese victory cities is not Saigon, but Shanghai (in Kiangsu).

      If you can make the above and below changes the default for the 1942 scenario that would be great!

      As a follow up question on territories/control markers, i believe one of the NOs for UK is to take a Japanese territory.  In the 1942 setup, does that include Japanese-controlled at the start but originally UK territories, such as Borneo, or only 1941-controlled japanese territories, such as Manchuria?

      a couple questions for clarification:

      1. 1 infantry per 2 territories…so you round down not up if you have an odd number?
      2. rules state that you can only place new units up to a limit of three units per territory.  Does that include the flying tiger unit or only chinese infantry?  what about other allied forces reinforcing the chinese?  do those also count towards the limit of three units?
