Hopefully not for Russia, right FMG? I mean, you can match colors with the combat dice (in general terms) while matching more closely with the piece color.

WotC was inconsistent in the past - but they have a standard color palette now. It is not that hard to color match plastic pieces - Jack over at Table Tactics nailed the color matching for the original A&A expansion pieces he made.

This is kind of important to me. I know that you will produce a quality product, and that I will buy it no matter what… However, that being said, I feel that the combat DICE should match the pieces, not the other way around. I feel that you tend to agree with me, as you are releasing German combat dice in black.

I have all of the above (yellow Brits, lime Brits, cream Brits, tan Brits, etc) - I will post pictures when I have time.

That is a given - the dice match current piece colors.

I’m asking if the pieces will match perfectly with current pieces.

I agree with Boboshonda. I think the pieces will be a perfect match, FMG can you confirm?

Oops - let me rephrase that. 22 Italian tanks, and 1 “Italian” Matilda. It came in the bag with the Italian pieces. Very odd…

Knp - I have 22 of them now, and I am always looking for more. The rarest piece in A&A, by far.

The cool thing is it matches the new 1940 pieces perfectly. I feel that every A&A tank should be unique (including France!) as they are “signature” pieces.

Guys, check your invoices and do the right thing here. An extra $5-20 may not seem like much, but it will help Jeremy get us the addt’l unit sets much quicker.

I did the exact same thing! Funny how 3 sets is the “sweet spot”. Honestly, I can’t wait for all the pieces to be released….

Wow - I had been checking the other thread for updates, and totally missed this one!

I’m so excited for French units, color matched, and in the sizes we requested - I’m predicting a runaway hit!

The funny thing is the original Europe & Pacific already had a nice tan color for the UK forces.

When Revised first came out, the UK was greenish and Germany was gray. They switched over to more modern colors in the 2nd Revised printing.

Incorrect, Special Forces.

In the case of UK having it’s capital seized by Germany, they surrender all IPCS.

Then, if the UK captures Italy, they capture all of Italy’s IPCS - but they can’t use them until London is liberated.

Basically, the IPCS are held by the UK, but cannot be used until the turn AFTER they recapture their capital.

I agree with knp - the colors are distinct enough on my board.

Jack, DrLarsens’ axiom is the best I’ve ever heard to describe what we are trying to do - “If it’s not COMPLETE, it must be COMPATIBLE”.

Make the French pieces in exact color matching to the AAE40 French pieces and you will have a runaway hit on your hands.

You forgot one German attack G1:

Attack Yugo with everything in GSouthern Germany that can reach + 1 Inf from Romania.

Retreat after 1 rd to Romania

It also doesn’t matter what turn it is either. UK could fall G3, and capture Italy UK5 and they would still capture the Italian IPCs.

They just can’t use them until the UK has their capital back.

I agree with ILhere.

Although IL may not be the most diplomatic of persons, his message rings true - more people would prefer the OOB colors. Cater to the majority market first, make your money, then do alternate colors.
