You are very welcome! It was a great thing that NA came out with a French tank - a gift to 1940 players :)

RE: Looking For French Sculptsposted in Customizations
Well, France doesn’t start with a mechanized inf in 1940, and therefore doesn’t really buy them.
You can use the CMP truck from North Africa, that resembles the Citroen trucks in 1940.

Get the tanks from North Africa! They are absolutely beautiful, that way you have those.
Europe 1940 First Edition had US 105mm Artillery as well.

Not sure how that changes my response, they haven’t made these in years. They aren’t magically going to find 200 pieces :)

RE: Looking For French Sculptsposted in Customizations
No. These were made several years ago and there are no plans to make them again.

RE: Looking For French Sculptsposted in Customizations
You didn’t find them, then. Look under Battle Pieces at Historical Board Gaming, they made a unique set of French blue sculpts several years ago.
The only issue is most of them are out of stock, but sometimes they pop on eBay. North Africa has unique Somua S35 tanks, by the way.

RE: List of Sculptsposted in Axis & Allies Discussion & Older Games
@Krieghund Fantastic! I’ll delete my edits then, only one note - the Soviet/French fighter is always a Yak 3, the MiG 3 is very different and was never used in A&A.

@djensen 100% I was wrong!
I’m now a playtester for this, so I cannot comment, but it is an Axis & Allies game… and I will buy it :)

Wanted - 1st Edition Europe 1940 French pieces (tanks/artillery)posted in Marketplace
Hi everyone - looking for as many tanks and artillery from Europe 1940 1st edition (US Sherman and US 105mm) as possible.
I’m willing to swap 1:1 for Europe 1940 2nd edition pieces AND pay you $1 per piece as well as cover shipping. Let me know how many you have!

@Imperious-Leader I’m not disagreeing with anything you wrote, but was merely answering the original poster who inquired as to AAM.
It looks like Renegade is releasing a GI Joe themed version using the AAM rules. I’ve never played AAM, don’t really care for it, but the original poster asked…

@Midnight_Reaper I believe by “game engine” they mean the A&A Miniatures.
It would make sense, with the other elements they stated in the release.

RE: [AA50/Anniversary] Modular Map Overlays - Splitting Australia, the Balkans, and Sea Zones; adding Cairo, Malaya, Singapore, Rio, Cape Town, Recruitment Centers and tons more!posted in Customizations
Nate, could I ask a huge favor - could you edit the Version 4 map file for me and remove all of the RCs? No other changes, I’d like to print it out but without those as a very nice vendor on Etsy (ummm… you!) made me a buttload of 3d printed pieces :)

RE: Wanted - 1st Edition Pacific 1940 Anzac Infantryposted in Marketplace
@crsluggo thanks! Honestly, as many as you’d be willing to let go; I’m assuming it might take me a bit of time to replace all of my 2nd edition Anzacs with 1st.

RE: Have you guys seen this big anouncement for A&A?posted in News
@crsluggo The best is yet to come… they’ve hinted at some major plans for A&A Anniversary, looks like they are onboard with making it the flagship product for Axis & Allies.
New sculpts? New scenarios? New optional rules/cards? We shall see!

You think so? I voted for Bulge, only because I’m a sucker for more trucks

@vodot amazing! One final tweak, can “Defender” at the bottom be in red like Anniversary one?

RE: New Renegade Games - Pick the Battle poll, which title would you like to see reprinted?posted in News
@vodot here’s a fixed link, you posted your seller version: Etsy listing
I think hit dice would be great, I’ve always thought that they should just have the number on each face that hits (that way it’s easy to know which dice you are rolling, rather than “red is for 1, blue 2 etc).
I.e. a “3” hit dice would have the number “3” on 3 of the D6 faces, a “1” would have the number “1” on one face, etc

Choices:
Battle of the Bulge
D-Day
Guadalcanal
Zombies
There’s an interesting question about which Axis & Allies Accessory you’d like to see them release, I voted for an “Expansion Pack” of new plastic sculpts for all powers (new units, and new sculpts for existing units). What are your requests?
