I’d be keen for a team based league, I’m assuming Nix if he’s keen will be my Partner. If it get’s up and running, count me in.

I rate you fairly highly Nix, you were my 2v2 Tourney after all and if it wasn’t for my blunder in the Title match, we might have had a chance of actually taking the Championship. You make some ballsy moves that pay off most of the time were as with others it dosen;t most of the time.

Seriousley guys coming from Australia you guys should check out some Aussie bands like Powderfinger, Eskimoe Joe and John Butler Trio you will be impressed. Keep posting on new music cause I love me music and are always keen to hear new stuff.

Ok, all countries start with standard cash, Russia and Britain get 2 Tech’s, Usa, Jpn, Ger get 1 each.
Seeing as we are picking sides now, I will shotgun and pick Japan.
So we have the sides as follows
Switch - Germany
Jen - Usa
Rand - Japan
AJ - ?
Funcioneta - ?

It is meant to be a fun game after all.

Ok, Switch has said he is keen to go Germany, that’s cool with me as long as it is with everyone else.
So we have Switch, Randmacts, Jen and AJ on board we just need 1 more and I will roll to see who gets the other teams.
I still think Russia and Brt should get at least 2 Techs, just to even it up.

I think we should stick with the 5 player scenario. If this game balls up, at least we can set better ground rules if it proves to be popular for next time it’s played. Lets just get 5 players on board, set some rules like Techs and so forth, roll to see who gets waht country and ave a go.

Yeah my thoughts are Russia, Britain should get several techs, I like what Jen suggested earlier on

I feel Both Germany and Japan are strong enough to start with in any case

Ok Cyan and Bean I take it with your interest in this topic you are keen to play? I think National Advanatages could be a good idea. I’m all for alliances ( Especially if I was Russia ) but the idea is a ffa after all and don’t believe in being able to share land, AC’s etc. An alliance should be only an agreement such as you don’t attack me I don’t attack you sort of thing, with the view to eventually seek world dominence. There can also probably be no surrenders in this game, as silly as that sounds ( But this is a completly hypothetical game in any case ) so as to there being no advantages to certain sides.
Any thoughts?

yeah they would be up against it that’s for sure. At least you will see plenty of action. Just need 2 more players and will have to give it a crack. To make it fair we will have to chose sides randomly. Maybe roll a dice for each player 1 being Rus 2 being Ger etc and go from there. So far we have Randmacts, Jen and AJ on board. As soon as we get the 5 we’ll get it started.

Just seeing if anyones keen on having a fun game of Free for all. Is there a version out there maybe with an altered set up. I thought there was but couldn’t find it in any of the threads. If your keen let me know and If you have the rules possibly for it or know as to where I can find them let me know that would be appreciated.

I used to play alot of Warhammer. I won a bit at various comps and painted up a fairly impressive Orc and Goblin army.( With help from my wife who was better at it than me ) I have recently sold it all for a fair profit as where I live now noone plays it, . It used to however satisfy my hunger for strategy games. Same goes with A&A, noone plays it here but I have found this site more than makes up for it, such is the number of players.

Being from Australia I’m really digging the local music here at the moment. You guys should have a listen to a coupla bands you guys probably have never heard of, they being Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe and John Butler Trio.
I also like alot of the old school bands like Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Supertramp etc

I’ve been following the progress of this map and first of all would like to say excellent job guys. But as a very proud Australian I have noticed that you have failed to include Victoria on the map ( Victoria is the Southern tip of Eastern Australia ) as well as the little Island State of Tasmania ( which should be below Victoria ).
Just thought I’d bring it to your attention should you want to add them. Cheers 8-)

As a bit of a fun novelty game has anyone tried a Free for all game. If anyone else is keen I am. Maybe we could roll a dice and the 1 with the highest gets to choose what Power they want. Anyway its up in the air and let me know what you think.

Anyone up for a game of classic A&A, I’m still waiting for the new game and would like to play to get used to playing a game over the internet to help prepare for the tournament. Cheers……I will check throughout the day (or night for most of you guys) for anyones answer
