Got my US supplement sets today. Some of them will participate in my set up for ’ The Invasion of Italy '.

Can’t wait for the FMG’s ones and all the other supplements to come.

Ok, I put my number in. And in an other 5 months I would have been the first to put in 60 +  :-o

Since I bought the Global War 1939 map from HBG, I am going all the way buying everything HBG and FMG are making. I think I will put up for sale all my others A&A games, includind the Anniversary ed. to make up for all the items I bought and will buy in the future. I also have the Invasion of Italy map and plan to buy the Okinawa  and WWIII pdf ones. I am interested in the Solomon map only, so far.  :-)

I’ve been playing games for a ’ long ’ time, only interrupted by work. I used to own hundred of AH and SPI games but sold them all because I was the only one playing those games around here.   :-(

I think FMG/HBG should have a sticky in every forum here. We are today almost 138 000 members here, but only a few read on this Variants Forum. I also think you should post some pics on Boardgamegeek forum, that should reach a lot of wargamers.

Ref to Boardgamegeek, I only saw ’ Invasion Italy ’ from HBG there. I concur that FMG and HGB should post more pictures/videos under the Axis and Allies Variant title. Especially with the Global 1939 map and all the new units these two gentlemen are making for A&A fans. You guys might find a bunch of new customers from BGG.

In a sense. I think what happened, after reading the # of units in your Germany combat set, is that we were supposed to get only 6 cargo/transport ships and 12 subs in a set. I got 12 cargo/transport ships and 10 subs per set. So, as the math goes : 6 more ships minus 2 subs = 4 extra units for a total of 154 instead of 150. But I am not complaining, not at all. :wink:

Just got my pieces in the mail and all I can say is… Wonderful job FMG!  The level of detail in these pieces is amazing.  I cannot thank you enough for making these.  Speed up production on the other nations because I plan on buying every single set you produce!

In each box set there are 6 ziplock bags containing, each : 1 commander, 2 inf  sculpt # 1 and 2 sculpt # 2; 2 autoblinda, 1 semovente and 1 ( the other tank  carro armato 41 ), 1 truck and 2 arty. 1 CV, 1 BB, 1 CA, 2 DD, 2 transport and 2 SS ( 5 out of 6 ); 2 figther, 1 bomber, 1 tac bomber, 1 transport.

26 units per bag x 6 bags = 156 - 2 SS = 154 total

FMG already has Italy Combat Dice.  Those came out a couple of summers ago.  I’m pretty sure the combat dice in question are the new France, ANZAC and Black Germany dice.

And the Canadian too  :wink:

As of now, I would be interested in the Solomon’s map only ( 48’ x 108’, maybe 99$  :roll: ). I have put lot of $$$ in A&A Naval that I wouldn’t buy anymore in an other scale. Unless you make them 1/1800 instead of 1/2400… :evil:

After a quick read ( nice to put the changes in red ), here are my remarks, observations and questions.

• On pg 10 of the rules, under Air units, STRATEGIC BOMBER should be labelled E not C. ( just to prove that I did read the whole thing  :-D )

• In the set up pgs, all of them, in the ORDER of PLAY box, shouldn’t FRANCE be with Russia & comm. China now ?

• On the ITALY set up, under SPECIAL RULES # 2, the words ’ only if at war ’ are now removed ?

• On the RUSSIA set up, under SPECIAL RULES # 2, don’t you have to rephrase it to match the new RUSSIA political situation with GERMANY ?

• A question/clarification ref JAPAN sneak attack about the new 35 IPCs spending instead of 10 inf and 2 transports. Clarify ’ place at the end of turn '. Do you mean to place those 35 IPCs under # 5 of the first impulse with the normal build or at the end of turn after the second impulse ?

• Noticed the 1 inf increase every 2 turns with pro Axis and pro Allied placed in their capital territories. Which mean the longer you wait to attack them, the stronger they will get, and on the other hand, the stroger they will be when you annex them… Am I wrong ?

• I saw that you fixed LENINGRAD.  :wink:
