      And now US: they are heading to Spain, building up lots of production capacity. As stated before, there are other possibilities, like going for Scandinavia or directly for the Channel, but I think this is the most common strategy.

      About Paris: yes, G3 is usual. A few try to get Paris in round 2 already. But round 4 or even later is really bad for Axis. One of the few really important tasks at the start.

      Morocco can also be done in round 3. I saw really nice variations for this, though I never play it like that. Greece is more important. It’s possible to take Tunis in round 1 and Greece and Morocco in round 2. Wirkey also has a variation with getting Greece in round 1 and Tunis in round 2, which is really interesting. Morocco gets important in 2 rounds, when Italy might try to hold the strait of Gibraltar against the US. But US can also go straight for Morocco and free it.

      Time to take a look at the British strategy.

      There are 3 theatres where UK is present:

      • Northern France / Paris
      • Eastern Med
      • Turkey

      Turkey is simple:
      if you get Ankara you have to hold it at any price. It might be hard in the beginning, but it’s the key for winning in that area. You can even put pressure on Italy now, though if you are fighting in France, that’s very hard. Remember that idea when Italy is under pressure from the US.

      Eastern Med:
      well, you cant get everything. Delay Italy. Maybe you survive till US arrives in Europe and Italy is fighting hard to keep them out of the Med.

      Northern France:
      As you can see it’s important to plan early reinforcements. Otherwise you have many transports, but no units for shipping. But you can also already see what I mentioned earlier: even if you feel lucky and should win in Paris now - UK is already stronger than Germany will remain in that case.

      Round 1 to 3 is for setting up the strategy, after that it’s mostly tactics. It’s hard to switch the general strategy after round 3 (though possible … you need lots of mobile units for that).

      Ok, let’s take a look at the Russian strategy.

      In the south I build up a massive force of infantry. So far I can stop any German advance. But I have little offensive power, so I cant advance myself. Stalemate for some time. Russia also has lots of fighters to exchange territories without too many losses.

      The North is more interesting. The mobile and offensive units are stacked at Lenindgrad. I can hold Leningrad at the moment, but it can become a close thing in the future.
      On the other hand Finnland is already getting extremly weak despite the bid reinforcement. Belomorsk and N.Finnland are pretty even at the moment. But Finnland can raise the stack by 6 infantry only. Compare it with Russia. If I am willing to give Leningrad, I can raise the stack by 4 artillery, 9 tanks (Leningrad + Omsk), 8 trucks, 5 fighter, 1 Bomber + 8 units build in Archangelsk and Leningrad next turn. Finnland is not able to survive alone. It needs German support. What Russia will do depends of course on Germany, but the North is the offensive part of my strategy.

      Ok, let’s take a look at the US. They are taking the southern path. Normally I have to buy a 2 more fighting ships, but you were very passive, so there was little need. Goal is to achieve early a shipping bridge to your destination. You want to get 10 units per turn to Europe. More will be produced in Europe itself. If you are heading for France you will need even more. Or the US will take over the naval fighting part against Germany.

      On the southern path there are 2 possibilities: Morocco and Spain. Spain is the usual goal. C.Ortegal is a wonderful place for first landing operation, though many try Portugal. C.Ortegal is more expensive counting transports, but  faster for helping in France and cheaper for first landing.

      OK, let’s take a look at UK. UK had 2 options: fighting Italy in the Med or fighting Germany in France. It’s always a good choice to concentrate on one theatre. Well, I am not consequent.

      As promised, UK will be shipping about 14 units per round to France. This round it’s 10 land units, next round it will be 14. If I would concentrate on Germany, I would increase that number. But already now you can see the trouble for Germany.

      The Med navy is interesting for the while strategy. If UK spends everything in the Middle East, the would be a naval race. Italy would always be forced to increase it’s own fleet. Now it’s harder because of France. I still spend some money in the navy because it will delay you for some time. An alternative is to block your path with the 2 subs and defend Cairo. As you didnt take Greece, this alternative is nicer. With Greece I would either concentrate on the Middle East and build a big navy or I would spend as little as possible on the Med navy.

      The problem with the 2 war strategy are the reinforcements. I will need to build 14 infantry per round in UK. Italy can afford to spend everything on the main focus Ankara. This makes things very difficult.

      First: your German subs at the Norwegian coast are in danger from the complete Royal Air Force. You can edit them one field further to the north (that’s the usual stop before going home).

      Ok, explanation for the Russian strategy:
      You didnt reinforce Finnland a lot. Without the bid reinforcement Finnland would now be in trouble - but they are not safe.
      My Russian idea in the North is to build truks in Leningrad. They are great defence for Leningrad - and can also reach the Finnish capital. Together with Archangelsk it’s 8 units per turn against Finnland. Enough to force Germany to help regularly.
      I love Russian fighters and try to have at least 4 of them around. They help me to close gaps without too many losses. Especially with dice rules. I guess, I need even more with dice rules.

      The south is very interesting. As you are concentrating your forces more to the north (and too many infantry to France), I fortify the Donetsk area. If you are unlucky I can even prevent you building a factory at Ukraine.
      Normally my main Russian stack in placed in Minsk, sometimes at Donetsk.

      Another part of Russian strategy:
      try to use all building slots. But be careful that you dont loose too much mobility.

      They have to be in the country where the carrier is being build. It doesnt matter if they are new or not. You can edit them on the carrier if you like.

      remark: I bleed German units with almost every battle, and too many than I should, statistically. That will not decide the outcome because your skills on this map are superior, but its not good.

      It’s normally me who has bad dices. That’s why I dont play dice. But this game is about showing Allied strategy, so dont worry. You will get a second chance.
