I know what you said but I just have to give it 3 stars. Game balance favors a J1 massive attack. ( I know but I had to). Also China and UK are just speed bumps. Big ones but they are speed bumps. The US is the savior which is far far away. ANZAC if China/UK falls is doomed. US never falls but by then japan one. YEs there are ways to counter but 1 star knocked off for that. The other star is setup issues not fixed by the erreta. Like 3 fighters on NZ or the 2 almost defensless UK transports and undefended hawaiian transports. So 3 stars.
i got mine for coolstuffinc. Good prices and to eliminate shipping….BUY 2! Thats what i did. Ones still in shrinkwrap the other is for playing. Just like anniversary 42 and revised. Only one i dident was 2nd edition.

I dont know why but Russia. I always volunteer to play Russia (since my gamemates hate it) and I always, win or lose, enjoy it. Ive enjoyed other countries but russia is different. Maybe because when I played for the first time it was my country. Im also the best at it. Second is Uk by far.

I think what he’s saying is Russia controls the fate of the game, which is probably true. It dictates how much resources the UK and US can put into the Pacific and Africa to keep the Axis away from the IPC pinata. A strong Russia will instigate pressure on the Germans with minimal western support while a weak Russia forces the Allies to play piggyback the Reds and provide a weaker defense against Japan.
Probably yes because russia is usually what determines the game. If russia holds until Western help can arrive or better yet, take germany then allies usually win. If russia falls axis usually win.

Okinawas a good battle but Midway was more of a tipping point over a already doomed Japanese Defeat. Just my opinion so if i had to ask for 1 id say Midway.

Our group ranges to my cousin who is 13 to another friend at 33,soon to be 34. So yes they are not kids. I turned 21 1/2 two days ago. Anyway yes they are more mature I do sometimes subsitute for my cousin when he gets bored but besides that we all our dedicated.

Playing with so many people cannot possibly lead to a fun game. There would be 7 people at any given time messing around and not paying attention to the game and turns would just take even longer. In this case, there is such a thing as too many people. I’d say a max amount of players for a fun game would be 6 or maybe 7. Having 5 or 6 might be ideal though. It seems like it would take a while for only 2 people to play this game.
I have 9,sometimes 10 if someone brings a guest, players and we get through games fine. If you have immature people than yes but we are all very patient so we get through games quick. I have 1 AA50 2 AA42 2 AA original 1 AARE and 1 of BotB DDay and Guadacanal. I have almost every axis and allies game and we have to group off. This will eb the first time we can all play!!!
splitting russia would be impossible, but since the Uk is already going to run like two powers that is possible and US is going to be economic powerhouse that needs to focus is assets in both directions, it can be split into someone running the pacific side of the board and someone else the atlantic. Those two would need to be willing to work very closely together though.
HEs right. Russia needs all the money it can get with Germany Pounding from the Soviet Eastern Front and Japan from the Soviet Far East.

I may use my 1942 pieces since I have 2 sets so id use one. If im good eh maybe ill do others. Back on subject, ive never painted so I dont know. But WOTC style I doubt he uses. He probably paints till he gets it right.
