@twmattox
I looked in my Axis And Allies Classic and all of my countries have either 17 or 18 pieces, also I now know mine is probably 2nd edition because of the copyright date on the back.

RE: "LOSERS PRIVILEGE"posted in General Discussion
I am very new and don’t really know about different people (have no idea who Lord Curtmungus is) but I don’t really like it if people swipe the board or anything like that.
If someone thinks they are going to lose and give up then they could if they wanted, I’m not going to force someone to play a game.
But, if they wiped the board or something is something that I have never seen that as sportsmanship, usually when I hear that I hear of people who are mad that they lost and taking out there anger at the game/game pieces which I believe that taking out anger isn’t really sportsmanship.

How to tell Classic first from secondposted in Axis & Allies Classic
I just bought a used Axis And Allies Classic Edition And was wondering wether or not it was first or second. I know that the difference is only in rules and that the peices, board, and everything else is the same. The only problem is that the one I bought Didn’t Have The Rule Book. Is there anyway to tell the difference without the rule book? Thank you,

Question on the Rulesposted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
On Avalon Hill’s website under the FAQ for their 1940 game, it says that “the Soviet player can change Allied units into their Soviet counterparts only if the Allied unit is in a territory that also contains a Soviet industrial complex” but after searching the rules, I couldn’t find anywhere where it said that Russia change trade out Allied units for Russian ones. Is this a real rule in this game?
