Japan can pass through those sea zones during the non-combat phase while not at war with the ally powers. So really, is it that big of an issue?

Hey guys. I sent an e-mail to WOTC as well. This was the response I got from Jamie.
The Axis & Allies: Pacific 1940 game has a known issue where the Battle Strip is misprinted. Some of numbers are wrong or missing. While we don’t have any correct Battle Strips available for replacement at this time, we do expect to receive them by February. The same goes for the Japanese Tactical Bombers as well. Please reply with the following information so we can make sure to send you a correct Battle Strip when we get them in:
So in other words, we should be receiving more tactical bombers in Feburary! Woohoo!

Well they were a commonwealth of Britian’s at the time, very strong connections to them. So it’d be safe to assume that they shared equipment and such.

Beautiful! Thanks for the responses. I was looking at the map for the pacific, and I noticed that japan could not strategic bomb the western USA in 1940, where as, in the 1942 version, you can take over midway, bomb western usa, and then back to midway. Threat of Tac bombers may be good.
It so would have been nice if there was that added flexibility with the mech infantry being able to transport one or two more units of infantry with them. Would have put a really nice spin to the game.

Right. But my question is, does anyone know if they have a special ability to transport infantry as well with them?
Second question, can tac bombers land on carriers?
Thanks for the responses.

My question is, with the half-tracks, are they able to transport infantry as well as move 2 spaces, or is that just for them alone? I think It’d be awesome to have some kind of land transportation that is slightly quicker than one territory at a time for infantry/artillery.

Never played the revised before.
I’ll let you guys know if I am Germany again.

Instead of doing that strat, for Germany round one, do 3 infantry, 3 tanks, and two destoryers. That is 40 IPC. That way, it’ll be expensive to take out your transport in the baltic sea. Next turn, do 3 inf, 3 tanks, a cruiser, and 1 art if you have 40 IPC to spend. Put the cruiser with the battleship to ready yourself to move into the atlantic.
