Wow I really love that strategy with the USA. I never thought of it so many different ways. I can’t wait to try this in my game this Saturday if I pull the U.S. dice out of the hat. What is the largest stack of infantry you recommend trying to attack with your bomber fleet before turning your eye from it?

RE: Should Imperious make a map for this?posted in Axis & Allies 1942 2nd Edition
Forgive me I have just finished a 16hr shift at work. After some much needed sleep and rest I will take a close look at the map. As for the colors go I think they are fine but I’m much more partial to your supreme maps that resemble the OOB maps.

Best way to obtain more chipsposted in Axis & Allies 1942 2nd Edition
I would like to replace my chips with the nice chips that AA42ed comes with. Any thoughts on the best way to get a hold of some without buying more game boxes. Historical board gaming always seems to be out of them also.

RE: New to forum from NYposted in Player Locator
Welcome! You should try 1942 2nd edition. It is a great middle ground between 1941 and anniversary. I began playing it because my anniversary games usually took around 10-12 hours and 1942 knocked it down to more like 8hrs. I know that some people on here would say my games run long but my group is pretty layed back when playing plus I factor in a pizza break…

Question about new ac's and existing fightersposted in Player Help
Is there anyway you are allowed to land an existing fighter onto a newly purchased aircraft carrier before you turn is over or do you have to wait until your next turn to fly the fighter to the carrier? I though you might be able to move your fighter during non-com to the sea zone that the carrier will be built in but wasn’t sure if that’s allowed. Thanks.

Research Technology Diceposted in House Rules
Just thinking of adding dice to my games to take the place of technology chips. Instead of buying chips in order to roll for technologies you buy dice instead. I think rolling for a technology and seeing the atomic symbol face up at you would be more exciting than the 6 side of a dice. Any thoughts or ideas of where I can find some of these type of dice would be much appreciated.

Looking to print out my 1st map and would love for this one to be it. I really enjoy the 2nd edition board over the 1st. Please move forward on this. Having this map might just influence me enough to start building a custom table. Thanks for all you do!

RE: Favorite Pacific War Frontposted in World War II History
I enjoy reading anything I can about Saipan in the Mariana Islands. My grandfather was a BAR man apart of the marines 2nd division. He died when I was about 10 and he never liked to talk much about it. So anytime I can learn something about Saipan I jump at the chance. If anyone has any recommendations for any books about the 2nd marines on Saipan I would greatly appreciate it.
