or people should stay home if they are bassing there vote on color, age, or gender as well. but that would hurt the demacratic party a lot. i hear more “I am going to vote for O/H because they are black/woman” then i hear “I won’t vote for them because of black/woman” although i do hear it and that is sad.
i don’t care for eather but it’s not because of race or gender. it’s polacy and if we could atleast get people to vote on that alone the whole system would be better.

Clintons dug up the dirt on his schooling in what is now an extreamist school but may or may not have been at the time of his study there when much younger.
i think the Clintons also brought up the middle name thing first.
i’m not saying it was or is right, although the school is a consern because we don’t know if it was readical at the time, it needs some seriouse looking into IMO. any way right and left have used the name, accusing just the right of it is not right.

carrier should be a 1/1/$14/1 hit. they sucked in battle, there strenght was and is not in it’s guns (how few it has) but in it’s air power.

Cruser should be better then a destroyer, but i don’t think it warants 2 hits, i think it should be more like 3/3/$15/1 hit/ Bambard on a 2/ move 3.

China was a 3rd rate at best power, Italy although porrly lead was a 2nd rate power on par with Japan and Russia in industrialisation and millitary might. they just made bad strategic moves. that is no reason to say they don’t rate but a nation that got lucky dose rate to have a team. China had such a weak economy that they could not generate Armor to any real degree or generate air power. how fun would it realy be to play as a secound Russia but not even start with air power or Armor and also never be able to afford them to gain flex in combat? Italy atleast had all this and more and had the economy to stand on it’s own.

McCain is not a “tow the party line” kind of guy. it’s one of his good qualities. he is not towing the party line on Iraq, he has not from the start, he critisized the party line as being too weak earlier in the war. his setaments may be in line with the Republican party, but it is not McCain falling in line, but rather there lines run parralell on this case.

i would vote for a Dem IF i agreed with there policies and thought they were making the right choices. i would vote 3rd party if they had a chance to win (Ross Poriot for example had a chance), i wouldn’t vote for a 3rd party if they had a chance like Ron Paul if he ran 3rd party based on his support now at least; unless i found there to be no one i could tolirate in one of the two parties. I am not loyal to a party, i am loyal to ideals as people should be.

i think the real reason Italy is being intoduced is to break up the 2 Allied turns in a row. i have to agree also that China would be all but pointless to play as a nation by it’s self well Italy wouldn’t. Italy was just poorly managed, they should have had more influence on the war, but bad planning/leadership ment they did not.

$7 would be far too low IMHO, i think $10 could still be pulled off as in the last edition they cost $12 for the same power. there strength is not there 4 deffence but there 3 attack with flexability, the cheaper cost and extra deffence is why they are preffered over bombers IMO.

i’m sure Cuba says they have free trials as well.
getting family invalved in punishment is wrong.
giving such a short apeal time is also wrong as you would have to start working on your apeal as soon as you were charged the first time. apeals are ment for new evidence or what is considered an unfair trial. ether could take more then a week to get to prove.

the problem is when they clame not to be but are far left or right. the trend in the media is to lean left more then right though.

exacution like that would be verging on Cuban or Stalan policy, i’m not up for seeing our nation turn to that. although exacution squad’s i’m not against my self, even if a little messy.

as for letting the victomes family get invalved like that i again think is wrong, that kind of punishment can lead to mob rule. that is not a good thing.

my point on cost is IF it’s done fast, there are a few apeals (even lifers get that), last meal, and specal cell blocks. if you make the sentance swift then it is cheaper to give the perks for just a few years and then be done with them.
IMO 10 years or 3 apeals (thats 4 trials in total) take the shorter of the two. after that there out of time and go away.

from a religous stand point.
eye for an eye… life for a life.
forgive can be brought in, but you can forgive and still exacute.

economics stand point.
a drug coctail (or even a short drop with a sudden stop) is cheaper then 30 years of free room and board even if it’s bread and water in a room thats 6ft cubed.

socianty safty stand point.
if you know you will be exacuted for something (and fast) it will prevent people from doing it, take away the threat of exacution and crim would go up, this also holds true to other harsh punishments including long and hard prison stays. the more un desireable it is to commit crimes the less likelly you are to do it.

simple fix, exacute more prisoners and make prison more undesireable to be in.
ok as a serious responce, i see no problem with capital punishment, i would accually like to see people on death row shorter periods of time. yes i know innocount people die from this but it shows that the state/government is sirious about follow through and the effect is fewer people will commit the crimes that warnt exacution. this is my opinion on it atleast.
as for lowering the general pop, make prison so undesireable that you realy don’t want to go there, not the way it is now where it’s no big deal to go. there are people who are in and out because they way the risk and find that commiting the crime is worth the punishment. make the punishment worse and crime should go down.
i would love to see prisons emptyer, but not at risk of public safty. we have in WA sex offenders being set free early not because of parole but because the state wants to make room, these arn’t just your statitory rape (sex with under aged person) but also your violant sex offenders. this isn’t a good thing to be letting back out into the public expetally earlier then sentanced as it shows them and future offenders that the punishment is less then expected.
as of now prison isn’t a bad place to go for all, it needs to be so that you don’t want to go back or go in the first place.

thats kind of what i ment (or ment to say) is they collect there own money to spend, US collects it’s own, but there turns and control is the same. own color units though.

IMO they should if included be part of US turn (so the US player gets a little more play early on), but as there own nation in the same way as China was in Pacific game (US controled and on US turn but it’s own peaces). in additon give China 1 factory, and a total value of say $10-$15 depending on how the rest of the nations economies are starting. this way China can build what they want (ok navy and bombers are out, but they could if they saved the cash), but still are prity limmited to infantry. giving China’s 1 Factory teritory a value of say $3-$4 so they can build up, but also a few $0-$1 teritories to have to guard. not just that but unlike in Pacific Japan will have a reason to invade China as there is real value to the teritoreis.
