@naviator No worries at all. I just thought you may had forgotten to save and post. Has happened to most people here I think. That is very tedious as you need to edit per combat results :D

@naviator Of course! You can simply close the client and start the turn over. The only time you would need to ask the opponent about re-dos is pretty much after dice are rolled. Even then some things may be allowed.

@naviator Yeah as UK first turn you need to consider Germany going for London which will show itself G2. I will paste my game versus Simon33 below so you can see how it is possible to take all island J3 for example.

You could put everything in Alexandria and land German planes for defense against a UK attack. You managed to save your navy first turn and think something similar could be done but instead of taking Crete you stack in Alexandria and/or Trans-Jordan.

The more conventional way is to save your Italian navy outside Rome and use it later or have it as a threat. Then you don’t take Egypt maybe, but if you force UK to spend everything in London it’s possible.

@naviator I think you answered the question yourself, if USA spends the majority of its money in the Pac, a savvy Axis player will conquer Europe rather easily.

@naviator Not sure exactly what you mean. You can always scramble as the defender with an operational AB (i.e. max 2 points if damage). You can for example scramble during the US combat turn and then again during the UK combat turn if there are available/surviving figs/tacs.

@naviator If you use them on say Germany’s turn and land them where there is an AB you can scramble them on any of the opposing countries’ turn, so yes.

What I mean is that you will grab that factory in two turns, which pretty much negates me building in it from R6 and on since you will easily kill everything left there when you arrive. Since USSR usually gets pushed back to towards Moscow sooner or later, I don’t mind that much building new units in my farther factories since the front will gradually be pushed closer and closer to Moscow it that makes sense.

@naviator No, the “only” way Axis can win is by keeping the momentum. If you get into mid-game and it’s a stalemate, Allies will most likely out-build the Axis if they have a superior income.

@simon33 Yes I know, it’s something to consider of course. Yes it’s due to the surprise strike. Some quite difficult odds calculation to do by hand hehe.

@trulpen Yup. Also, it’s not fun to feel you’ve won solely on dice. One example is when I won versus @AndrewAAGamer awhile back in OOB. I played well, but without the 20 streak bombing raid before being shot down I think it might had looked different :D
