      Thanks. I have been called McGyver in a coupl eother sites I posted these on now. For this to be compared to McGyver, they would need to be able to fire whole cabbages at the bad guys and knock them out  … oh wait, that was the A-team.
      Thanks!

      After about 9 different coats of paint, ink, and wash, the base coat is complete. Paint process is about 20% complete at this point:

      Two Pz IIIs (AAM collectables v2.0) painted to normal standards.
      One Px IV, same scale, done to extra-fine standards.
      PzIV has hollowed out turret, with top hatch and side turret hatch open.
      Spent ammo shells cast from inside the turret were added. Also added are front spare tracks and track bar, bars to hold spare road wheels on, and a completed rear-end with rear axle housings. Battle damage done with pine-cone grinder bit and painted rusted & blackened. Fender gaps seperated from tracks with jewelers file and “bent”. Rust all around and rust-drips on vertical surfaces. Footwear and misc dings added. Commander added. Sprocket and track teeth silvered. Silvery-rusty scrape zone on barrel from recoils.

      Good thing it was used by airborne troops, cause after I fired a shot with this thing, at a tank, I would want airlifted out asap before the that tank got too mad at me.
        If I had one of these as a kid though, the other kids would not have made fun of me, like they did other kids on normal scooters. I’d blow thier tricycles to smitherines.

      Gots lots to post, but most all of it is in progress right now. Crewed-anti-tank gun dioramas, Soviet winter T-34s, scratchbuilt US super-SPGS (200mm & 240mm armed T-92 and such), and more planes. But they are all in the works, and I needed to post more often, so here is my German infantry mob. I’m not posting any of the DAK, as they are only in base color for my game. I only detailed my SS & panzergrenadiers, so here they are. About a dozen more Cavalry and 6 more foot soldiers, and my squad will be complete, but I couldnt wait. Here they are (1/72, 1/76, and a few oddball close scales):

      I needed a couple Pz Is and a Command Pz I for my early war scenarios (AAM collectable scale, about 1:120) , and I dont have any of those cool Hotwheels micro-machine PzIs (Anti-bomber has got like a dozen, and I am jealous). But I did have a BUNCH of T-70 Chassis, and 7-TP(?) turrets laying around, so I improvised. I didnt bother to sand the turret tops flat, and I may end up doing that yet. But for now, these ar ebeing rushed into battle. Also, I didnt bather to add any rust, or tread silvering (yet). These are definately “generic”.

      One of the “Indiana Jones” minis. A real nice Mk VII, this one has an upgrade turret on it, buit I can live with that (saves me the work). Its about inscle with the series 1 AAM tanks. Not quite 3 inches long. 72mm long to be exact. Heavy, too.

      1:144 scale, “Panzer Korp”. Extremely detailed, but sometimes they tread and chassis parts dont fit very well. Be pre-paired to add some extra track links to the hull to cover up the gaps.

      @panzerpainter:

      All the units I painted for myself will probably go to my grave with me. I will get creamated when I die, but those tanks better not. I expect them to be laid out in diorama fashion, on top of my ashes, like a desert scene.

      I’ve chopped my way through 3 sets of pieces now. Get em on ebay. I usually tell the seller I dont want the map board, box, etc, and get a buck or two off the shipping.
