To go with my “V1.5” (1:110 scale) Muas (and soon to be E-100s) is this turret. It is completely interchangeable between Maus and E-100s, like all turrets I make for these.

RE: V2sposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
Yes, I can make more for sure. These very my very 1st plastic molded creation. Painting men for the axis and allies board game isn’t really my cup of tea, since they have to be painted in LARGE numbers and usually painted to such simple standards that they can be assembled in large numbers cheaply. Just not my thing doing “quickies”, but the V2s, flak towers, etc, were a great idea. I can make them cheaper and cheaper, the more I make. I also want to make micro-sized Ratte tanks (operate like battleships or crusiers, but move on land).

Winter T-34 with protective mesh and camoposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
The wire mesh was added late in the war. It detonates panzerfaust and similar weapons inches from the main armor. This also serves well to stick camo in.

Thank you. I have made 12 of them now (about half were ordered with the ambush camo).

MAUS tank V1.5 (1:110 scale)posted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
(correction to title, Maus is 1:110 scale)
Made to fit right in with either scale, this is resin cast with metal barrels. Other variations are being made, including some with stowage racks and cables. Different camo schemes will be made as well.
One pic shows it next to a newer V2 King Tiger.
The best Maus is posted last.

I dont remove the paint underneath. I apply a light coat of primer and paint over it.

Desert Warriorsposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
Here’s some nice grungy, worn, battle-hardened desert units. Italian & German. AAM minis, “V2” scale (1:100).
Stug and Flakwagon are heavily modified, others ar eonly mildly modified. Skirts were sawed apart at the tops and twisted so they dont all make such a nice, straight, line. Then the Skirts were scuffed. Most have crews, the stug has a crewman repairing minor engine damage while the others stand watch. Flakwagon also has mesh skirts, brass handrails, headlights, feelers, and an interchangeable gun system so that a 37mm and 88mm version can be made with only new guns. Brumbar is being assisted with loading by a foor soldier. Semovente is in the heat of battle.

RE: DECAL SIZEposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
1:72 scale will look huge. AAM minis are basically one of two scales. The first edition pieces are approximately 1:120 scale, and the newer scale is about 1:100. I get my decals from (www.)I-94Enterprises(.com).
I use thier decals because each sheet usually has a wide range that covers all 3 of these scales. They make a basic sheet of US white stars, circled and uncircled, and a sheet of nazi crosses that would be perfect for you. -

Here is the T-28’s adversary, or maybe “victim”:

US T-28 super heavy tanks (x7 made)posted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
With 26 resin cast pieces per tank, and about 60 pieces total, these are probably my best scratch-builds yet. Made inbetween AAM “V1” and “V2” scales, these are 1:110 scale. A total of 7 tanks made so far, perhaps more to be made some day. These T-28 tanks WERE actually battle ready. Intended for use against the Zigfried line, but the Germans abandoned that. Then readied for use against Japan, but the war ended before they could arrive. These would have been escorted by Pershing tanks, right up to enemy bunkers. The split-part 105mm magnum ammo would have simply shipped away at the bunkers until thier was nothing left. Invulnerable to any known anti-tank gun, they had the most powerful gun to be mounted on an allied vehicle in WWII.
Only the 2 with black in thier camo remain unsold so far. All others have found a good home.

Nashorn-to-Hummel convertablesposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
Also ordered in “fine” detail. These Hummels can have thier guns lifted out, and 88s put back in. The 88s are made from the same mold as I use for my sFH18 150mm guns, but with portions cut away, and a thinner, longer metal barrel put on. I made a mold from the barrel of a King Tiger for the muzzle break, and resin cast my own for the nashorn guns. Crews are mounted solid, and thier is nothing else inside the tanks like ammo - since I could not do both 88mm and 150 split-part ammo in this tank that is meant to be either. 2 of the crewman are just climbing onto the back through the opened doors I made.

Tiger I and Brumbarposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
Both done to fine detail, these barrells were OK, so no metal tubing here. Brumbar has many home-made resin cast supplies, and uses painted thread for “ropes”. Skirts on Brumbar have been misaligned. So far, no battle damage on these, but I may add some yet.

Grungy Soviets in spotted winter camoposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
All of these are AAM “V2” scale (ruler at the bottom).
All were ordered in “fine” detail. Wear from weather and crew, but no battle damage.
85mm guns are metal tubing.
KV-85 has my homemade reisn-cast supplies, and thread used for steel cables (they run the length of the tank).

RE: Slit trench / bunker systemposted in Miniatures Painting & Modeling
This has all the different pieces pasted into 1 pic (I cant get them all on my flatbed scanner). Since they vary in angle and brightness, its not as good of a pic as what they really look like all together.
