He told me he has some very intense months currently, but definitely has it on his todo-list.
E.g. a transport won’t load, or naval units won’t go into a zone they normally can etc… I initially thought it was because of a game that had gone too long but I’m also seeing it in a game that is only in its second round now.
This might be caused by an outdated TripleA-version where errors like this one sometimes occurred.
Or your opponent and you maybe don’t play using an identical TripleA-version.
I can only guess due to a lack of details.

Interesting idea to give sort of military ranks.
However that would be certainly good to encourage people already donating to donate even more.
IMHO the problem rather is, that far too few people donate to the site.
So how can we encourage more people to at least donate whatever amount of money?

What version of TripleA are you using?
Which steps does it need to reproduce the issue?
Please provide a screenshot of the error message.
The answer of @djensen implies that the issue could be resolved by switching to a newer forum theme, what might lead to other problems.
In the meantime you can always access every chat by klicking “Continue chat with” from your chat partner’s profile page.
