@Intrepid Thank you for testing this. I hope they get it fixed soon.

RE: How Tshoot Post Games on Forum
@BrentStoudtKY
For using the external dice server register your mail-address at
http://dice.tripleawarclub.org/register.php
in case you have not already done that.Your error message indicates that you have entered your email-address into the forum log-in details. But your email-address is not your forum login. Instead you need to enter your forum credentials in order to post to the forum, that means your forum login (BrentStoudtKY) and your forum password:

RE: Can battleships be repaired in friendly ports?
From the official FAQ:
"Page 14, Phase 1: Purchase and Repair Units, Step 1: Order Units and Repair Battleships: The
second sentence of the second paragraph should read “During this phase, your damaged battleships can be repaired, but only if they are in sea zones that have a naval base that is controlled by either you or a friendly power.” -

RE: How Tshoot Post Games on Forum
@BrentStoudtKY
This is usually due to the password entered somehow incorrectly into the above form.
Please check that the password entered there is exactly the same as the password used to log-in to the forum. -
RE: How does one access the old forum ?
@barnee
The link in the screenshot differs silghtly from the one you have posted above.
In the screenshot you see the figure “25” in the URL twice.
In your posted link there is no “25” at all.So while the link without “25” redirects, the one including the “25” gives the error message.

RE: TripleA crashes
@Enigma I am from Germany, actually.
Regarding your issue I am afraid there is not much we can do about it. These versions of TripleA and Java have been running rock solid since November 2018 - without noticable crash reports. Those crashes that occurred have usually happened with an error report - so we had at least something to investigate in.
You can always safely install the latest pre-releases of TripleA from
https://github.com/triplea-game/triplea/releases
next to the current stable version.So you could give that a try and see if your problem continues to happen.
Note that your opponent would need a pre-release, too, as the save-games of 1.9 are incompatible with those of 2.0.All I can say is that I had an unexpected similar crash some days ago - that never happened before, too. As this occurred only once I did not further care, but as you now report this, too, I will give the developers a note of this issue, maybe they have an idea that further helps.

RE: How does one access the old forum ?
@barnee Also I see “%” in the screenshot-URL.
The old forum had “#” instead.
This is an example of how the old forum URL-syntax was (different topic here):
https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=28699.msg1597613#msg1597613You see that the URL in your screenshot does not match this.
Instead the correct URL (old forum) would be:
https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=38615.msg25#msg25and this redirects to
https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/28180/should-we-make-better-rules-for-invadable-neutrals-1940All in all concerning the URL you tried/posted the new forum software seems to somehow generously ingnore the “%” (without number) when redirecting but throws an error when the “%” is followed by a number (such as 25 in your screenshot).

RE: Adding post location to individual posts?
@djensen It is the standard mode under Windows. Every program is executed in a Window.
In Chrome or Firefox you can access the full screen mode when hitting “F11” on your keyboard. This enlarges the program screen by “removing” the window frame and buttons. Return to the “Window” by hitting “F11” again. -

RE: Triple A Combat Hit Differential Turn Summary
@CaptainNapalm Moved to TripleA-Support-category.
@redrum I remember that has been discussed in the past - I don’t remember though, what maybe has been implemented in the current pre-releases as I have never used that. Do you remember?
-
RE: Adding post location to individual posts?
@Midnight_Reaper Ah, OK, so your issue occurs when the program window is extended to its maximum.
Thank you for being more precisely on that. And sorry for the confusion with F11 on my side.Now I am able to reproduce that issue, too. What I can see is that the line is rendered but then immediately overlapped by the above block that contains the A&A logo. So here I see it for about half a second.

Of course your input is highly welcome. We have the “Customizations” categories for exactly this purpose.

RE: Triple A Combat Hit Differential Turn Summary
@CaptainNapalm
Not from my side, sorry.
All I found was this somehow related discussion
https://forums.triplea-game.org/topic/474/total-game-report-option-for-statistical-purposeBut I don’t recall how it proceeded from there.

RE: Forums Feedback Redux
@barnee Yes, that happens to me quite regularly, too, sometimes once or twice a day.
Most of the time another attempt only seconds after the first one is successful.I don’t think that this is related to the number of active people on the forum, as I experience this happening even if only a handful of members/visitors is present.
@djensen Have you ever experienced this “503 - due to heavy load” screen?

RE: 📋 Forum Rules
@djensen
I have added the current House Rules Policy as #13 just for completeness, better visibility and reference.
