My evil plans failed!

I was hoping to sack another capital and let my allies rescue me and use the combined pillage + income to produce an even bigger army!

This question is vital to my strategy :)

Say Russia is captured by Germany, Russia surrenders all its ipc to Germany
On Russia turn, he decides not take back capital. Does Russia still collect income as normally (except that he doesn’t get to use it until his capital is freed)?

I’m asking this because it is very important

Art when fighting close to your industries. But build tank when you need to enter central/western Europe

I agree with squirecam, but games do cost money, and not of us are fortunate. I for one will buy the two games, because they will be epic. I would love to buy the other games (just for having more and more units), but my pocket is only that big

Although I will get AA40E, I might not be interested in playing it at all! If Japan is the only “bad guy”, it will be really boring to see the X people gang on you!

But the global game is very promising. I hope they can playtest it enough so that there aren’t too many balance issues!

Of course, specific infantry would make the game even more complex (and probably more fun). But then, how about Anti-tank? How about machine guns? Etc. It will make the game too complex. And the box just can’t handle that many types of units.

Its a great idea, (I personnally would love more complex) but I don’t think it is feasible

Otherwise, I agree. Be more efficient. Make your buys before your turn. Try to get an idea of what you will do, and what your allies are doing

Long-range, Paratrooper and Mechanized are tech that could be deadly at the right moment. The other techs are just fun :D

Luck is an important feature of game like Axis and Allies

Although techs are unpredictable, you already agreed playing with them, so you shouldn’t complain :)
