Quick question : can allied fighters participate in the defense of a bombed IC?
Yes, this rule is quite interesting. This could help Germany and Italy alot, but at the same time, it forces them to keep fighters on their territories

But the fighters involved in defense of a SBR can’t attack right? If so, that could be very interesting with Germany. How many Fighter can she keep on her IC to protect it?

And airbase allow fighters to participate in a naval battle when an enemy attack your fleet! (if the battle occurs within 1 case of distance)
According to Coolstuffinc, they will ship out as soon as they receive the games. That means either BEFORE 15, or the 15, or AFTER. It really depends when they receive from distributor. I am not too scared though. I am probably on top of their waiting list, so I should receive it on time :D

Could you give us your thoughts? Did you feel that the game was balanced?
I suppose that ANZAC could prepare a fleet + troops to invade some money islands that aren’t defended (all those 4 ipc islands). Of course, Japan could crush them if he wants to dedicate alot of ressources. But then, she weakens herself in China and leaves UK unchecked. Let’s not talk about US that is only waiting for his time to enter the war.
UK could prepare a powerful ground army to attack Japan. With its fleet, it should be able to force Japan into splitting her naval forces. And if I remember correctly, UK starts with like 3-4 airplanes in India right? That’s quite powerful.
China seems to be the weakess. But with the new rules, I think China can put up a decent fight. It can lure away precious units and open a road for his allies.
I think Japan will have to adopt a balanced strategy. Hitting too hard somewhere can open some weaknesses elsewhere. But at the same time, hitting everywhere seems impossible. Especially with the huge map
The fact is : If Japan can go to nov and attack China from behind, Russia is in deep trouble…
China was never meant to be a real power, I think, to the game designers. There are already 3 major allies, against 3 (or 2) major axis. China seems to be a little bit stronger just to slow down Japan. We still don’t have the game right now, so we can’t really say if China is better now or before. Give the game a chance.

I think giving 2 hit to tanks would make them way too powerful. Unless if its two hits from infantry/art. But then, it would make the game a little bit too complicated.

I was saying that balanced army will always beat infantry stack (unless you are talking about equal IPC value army). But again, who would attack when guaranteed of losing?
Inf Defends at 2. So a stack of 20 infantry should average 1/3 so 6-7. 10 inf 10 tank should do about 6. Second round, the attacker should still do 6, defender will do about 5. Third round attacker, should do 5 and defender will do like 2-3. Of course, this kind of stat doesn’t work when applying to such huge numbers of dice. But I’m pretty convinced it should be about correct
For the same amount of ipc, of course INF will win. Hell, 3 infantry > fighter all day. does that make fighter weak? If you answer yes, then clearly, we have a different conception of this game
