I voted for the FW-190 and the P-38, but my all time favorite has to be the P-40. I had the luck to see a group of these in the 1960’s mocked up to look like the “Flying Tigers”. I have been in love with the design ever since. :-D

RE: Control of Territoryposted in 1942 ScenarioThe NO’s for the UK include controlling any territory originally controlled by Japan. For the 1942 scenario, are ‘originally controlled by Japan’ territories where Japan starts with a control marker, or those regions where the board indicates Japanese control. For example, the Phillipines in the 1942 scenario? Originally controlled territories are those that do not have a control marker on them. Control markers indicate captured territories, and therefore cannot be counted as “originally controlled”.

RE: Favorite WW2 Bomberposted in World War II HistoryB-17 is by far my favorite. My father-in-law was a radio operator on one (shot down over Germany and captured in 1944) :-(.
P.S. yes he is still kicking

RE: Race to Moscowposted in 1941 ScenarioThe key to victory is a balanced strategy on both sides! I agree. I have won playing both sides (1941) and the allies have a strong position. btw why would you buy anything other than maximum units for Russia? Tanks on turn 1? I wouldn’t think of it until I had a stable UK or US presence on the continent.

RE: AA50 Rules Errata and Q+Aposted in Axis & Allies Anniversary EditionThe rules state that ICs can receive double damage at one time. Is this the maximum damage any one IC can sustain or, can they receive over and above damage several times during a turn, or over several turns without repair?
