@Nubnumber1 Noticed you didn’t mention the Anniversary or the Global 1940 version, have you played them before?

of the CLASSIC game of course! Then when the Original Pacific and Europe version came out, me and my brother played it for a while but eventually stopped because it was Too Axis favored and then eventually got rid of it! Eventually bought the D-DAY+Guadalcanal version but quickly got bored with it because it didn’t feel like an A&A game and got rid of them+didn’t either bother wasting my money on buying the BATTLE OF THE BULGE version! Then the Revised version came and we played that to death but still enjoyed it (despite the ugly map) until Anniversary came out and played that like crazy! Didn’t get into the G40 game until 2016 because we were playing the War Game WW2 from Pegasus Hobbies which had a Huge map and so didn’t want to justify paying a lot of Mula for the G40 after spending a Lotta money for said Wargame and we were still having fun warring with it! Eventually my brother stopped playing and that Wargame map got Warped because I didn’t store it away right while it was collecting dust, then over on eBay both the G40 maps were being sold for 25 bucks along with it’s amenities although it didn’t come with the playing pieces! After buying it we started playing again but then my brother started losing interest playing it due to having a girlfriend that he rather spend most of his time with! For a couple of years I didn’t have anybody to play the game with and so was forced to playing it Solo even though it wasn’t as fun as against my brother! Eventually I finally got a phone with WiFi capabilities and then got hooked on watching YouTube videos featuring the many versions of the game, after a few months of that I made my own YouTube channel and after a while I started playing YouTube Wars with others on the many versions of the game! Didn’t get into the 42.2 game until a couple of years ago because I didn’t think it be fun to play like the Anniversary Game, but somebody gifted me his spare game and now I love playing that version just as much! Since my brother got married he didn’t want to spend anytime with playing the game with me, so nowadays I play All my games over the YouTube with so many players in the A&A community and I posted over 300 videos of my turn of the YouTube Wars which is still going strong! Even before the Virus Hit, I still can’t find anybody to play A&A with face to face despite living in such a Big City and so thank goodness for the YouTube A&A community!!!

@Feaborn You should setup your own YouTube channel to show your customizations and perhaps play some YouTube Wars, also watch other’s YouTube videos to get yourself familiar with the rules+Strategies again! You might not think you’ll have to get familiarize with the game thinking you know everything about it already, but speaking from personal experience you’ll most likely learn some new things especially since you haven’t played the game in quite a while!!!

@Imperious-Leader Not as ridiculous as the OOB rule for Only the Attacker given the option of retreat but the defender gets to be Wiped out with no recourse- at least with my proposal the Defender can get away with maybe a few units, a number small enough not to wreck the game!

@Imperious-Leader In my House Rule system by the time the defenders qualifies to retreat, they wouldn’t have much to retreat with because they would have to wait until the Attacker’s Combined Dice dictates the Low Luck odds would Wipe them out in the Next round of combat- the Retreating units would be very minimal, but at least they wouldn’t be totally destroyed and get to fight on for later!

Re: Defenders being able to retreat? Here’s my house rule without breaking the game/If Low Luck odds determines that in the next Combat round of attack the Defender would be wiped out, then the Defender gets to retreat but has to leave 1 unit (Excluding AA guns, Transports) behind to cover the retreat(That Left behind unit does not fire back and is automatically destroyed)! The Defender Still gets to fire before retreating and retreats to One Adjacent territory/seazone currently not under Combat, those retreated unit Do not participate in any Combat nor reinforce newly captured TERRITORIES Until the NEXT New Round! I always hated that Defenders don’t get the option of retreat like the Attacker could, but only to fight to the death in which is very unrealistic in warfare- if playing G40, this rule comes into effect in Round 2 of the game!!!

@Der-Kuenstler Not bad, I myself just Revise the Mongolian rule being rather simple in my current YouTube House rules game/ If JAPAN declares War on Russia in any way, the Mongol troops goes to the Soviets- If the Soviets declares War on JAPAN (including going to China’s defense), RUSSIA don’t get them troops!!!

@BobbaRossa Looks like A&A Still don’t get the proper Respect it richly deserves by not putting it on the Marquee schedule, BTW it must be something in the water of you Californy folk having A&A Conventions constantly every year- us MidWesters don’t get anything close to that here!!!

Question: In Europe 40, if you control Turkey can you move land units into Greece?

@Folgore77 Have you ever considered playing over the YouTube, currently I’m in one right now. Playing with and against Warpig, Dutch Landcaster, Piloto 69, CORPORAL CLEGG, Prozach if you like to subscribe and watch our game- playing A&A on the YouTube is very convenient and fun, you should try it someday! You can type in No Limit Axis and Allies in YouTube, you should find me there for there’s many No Limit channels!!!

@Xlome_00 It’s fairly easy, just set up your own personal Youtube channel! I know there’s a lot of No Limit channels out there, so just type in No Limit Axis and Allies and you should be able to find me!

@Xlome_00 Man you are new at this, YouTube play has been the latest fad for A&A since last year but started with Corpo 24/Hunter Jones for a couple of years before that- I don’t host any face to face games because it’s almost impossible to get players together to play a whole day, whereas Youtube play is very convenient for the most part!!!
