@witt Been playing since '87, previously before I saw the game on the shelves of Toys R Us but didn’t buy it because it was too pricey for my budget. Eventually later on my brother found much of the game in the garbage of the downstairs neighbor’s porch, we both eagerly examined the pieces, map and Rules and fell in love with it! Later that week I bought the game from Toys R Us and we played it to death for many years since until the newer versions came out years later!!!

@stuka80 Even I don’t show my whole face, always wear sunglasses in front of the camera- for YouTube Wars I don’t really show my mug at All!!!

@corporalclegg Playing Anniversary my Allied side was losing, C-24 had his little ITALIAN fleet consisting of a Battleship and 2 transports in the Indian ocean and menacing us in AFRICA- since we were losing anyway, I chanced my US Bomber at his Battleship and in 3 ROUNDS of combat my Bomber done away with his fleet! Proof of this Risky Battle is still on video on my YouTube playlist, it was my First YouTube game (Without any pauses or editing of that video) and you can hear me Whooping😆 it up after that said Battle!!!

@karl7 I remembered you posting that Battle scenario of yours on the WhatsApp Chat a while ago, that was rather ingenious of you- even better than your Sneaky Karl, of which I dubbed your said move the Deceptive Karl!!!

@brookview The Only mandatory thing to do on one’s turn is to collect Ipcs at the End of their turn, All other actions are optional- in Other words Your Choice!!!

@the_good_captain It’s just not Anniversary without NOs, don’t like playing bids either however I do move some units around the map to make it more balanced between both sides!

@squirecam Phfftt, it’s not like you’re gonna get tech easily with oob rules- anybody who goes for tech in oob is a sucker and just wasting his Ipcs!!!

@squirecam There are just Too many variables to say exactly what I would bring in, just depends on what Japan brings to the table- it’s different for every game of course!

@squirecam Not particularly, when I said token I meant just the bare minimum to keep Japan honest- I’m also to the opinion that oob is just too Axis favored to be won by the ALLIES, all I’m saying is what’s my best strategy is in the Pacific and hoping the AXIS will slip up somewhere to give my side the advantage!

@thedesertfox My Allied strategy is to go KGF, however I do leave token forces in the Pacific just to keep Japan from going crazy All over- once I get a firm foothold in Europe then I start increasing my builds towards the Pacific just to match the Japanese from taking that elusive 6th VC!

@gen-manstein Perhaps, however I ain’t the Almighty- Even the NoLimit has to bow to the unfortunate facts of oob G40 being AXIS favored!!!

@thedesertfox Very well stated, this is why after many years of countless play since this game has been out, No One has proven that a KJF works better than a KGF!!!

@thedesertfox Which is why a KGF is the best way to go, especially if there’s a Sealion- just make sure that Sydney+Hawaii is stacked up with units and make Calcutta a very costly win for the Japanese!!!

@gen-manstein We’re talking about oob rules here not house rules, hence why a KJF would be hard on Russia…
