@the-captain Well All youse guys Hard work certainly shows, I’m on 23 pages of reading it and am Very impressed with it so far(with the minor exception of Brit commandos+US Marines)- You really should post these Expansion rules on your YouTube channel where it can Really shine for the Community, assuming you have a channel but if not then it should be No problem for you to start your Own channel! Perhaps one day we can try them out over the YouTube!!!

@radioj45 Never built Cruisers in any version, recently made a House rule where they can be Upgraded to a Heavy Cruiser- Pay 5 Ipcs off of a factory seazone in the purchase phase, it’ll turn into a Capital warship where it takes 2 hits to sink!!!

@the-captain Offhand it looks fascinating, will be anticipating it- been working on my Own Enhanced Expansion House rules for G40 as well, my group has been playtesting it over the YouTube for close to 8 months! Hopefully will be close to posting the finished product very soon on the House rules Forums before autumn time!!!

@corporalclegg Playing Anniversary my Allied side was losing, C-24 had his little ITALIAN fleet consisting of a Battleship and 2 transports in the Indian ocean and menacing us in AFRICA- since we were losing anyway, I chanced my US Bomber at his Battleship and in 3 ROUNDS of combat my Bomber done away with his fleet! Proof of this Risky Battle is still on video on my YouTube playlist, it was my First YouTube game (Without any pauses or editing of that video) and you can hear me Whooping😆 it up after that said Battle!!!

@witt Been playing since '87, previously before I saw the game on the shelves of Toys R Us but didn’t buy it because it was too pricey for my budget. Eventually later on my brother found much of the game in the garbage of the downstairs neighbor’s porch, we both eagerly examined the pieces, map and Rules and fell in love with it! Later that week I bought the game from Toys R Us and we played it to death for many years since until the newer versions came out years later!!!

@rscerie Only way to convince me is to play against me as the Allies over the YouTube, Yes I have thrown down the Gauntlet!!!

@sniffemonster The First edition of the Classic version had the Commander in Chief Rules, any Allied nation could combine together with another Nation to Attack together- that Rule was done away with in the 2nd edition Classic version!!!

@taamvan Agree with All your of points, for a little of over a year now my group has been playtesting our G40 variant house rules over the YouTube currently- we’re addressing the last of your 3 points to try to fix and find a balance between the two sides, we almost got it finished and will share it with the community hopefully by Summer’s end!!!

@superbattleshipyamato123 Wouldn’t think it would balance the game other than destroy some extra German units, anyway we’ve been playtesting China going first for over a year now on our YouTube War House rules game- it certainly slows the Japanese some, although China is still dwindled down to almost nothing but it’s been working for the Allies advantage on the Pacific side!!!

@Feaborn You should setup your own YouTube channel to show your customizations and perhaps play some YouTube Wars, also watch other’s YouTube videos to get yourself familiar with the rules+Strategies again! You might not think you’ll have to get familiarize with the game thinking you know everything about it already, but speaking from personal experience you’ll most likely learn some new things especially since you haven’t played the game in quite a while!!!
