I played a game monday evning, when i used this tactic very succesfull, granted that it wasn´t elite players i played against, but on the other hand i had a totaly incompetent player on my team incharge of Japan…
In short, Germany took Moscow, in turn 5 or 6, with no allied presence in europe (aside from Norway)
And it allso binds up Allied Fig on carriers instead of being in Russia.
Some feedback on my All fig build in G1, and then atleast 1 Fig/turn and the rest to Inf.
I think it gives me great mobility, defense and is better at threthening Allied navies then a naval build.
I do see that i will lack some inf in the start, but that isn´t that bad becuse i can fallback all the way back to germany and then strike out, when Russia overextends themselfs.
You must of course be sure to preserve the airforce, and not squander it away.
Alternative is 2 bmb, 1 fig first turn for more range.
Personaly i now allso have put a permanent stop to all SBR activities in my games (from my side)

Well i like ADS dices, but as some people know i reserve the right to complain (withing reasons). And it´s not to say other people didn´t win over me by skill, becuse i had “bad luck”, becuse luck usually swings both ways.
The complaining part is kind of a ritual, where you can get your anger out, and then collect yourself and try to win the game (as i nearly did vs Mojo).
Im a strong advocate of Russia sending 2 Arm to Yakut and 6 inf To Buryatia on R1, to go mess Machuria up a bit…
Ties up Japan atleast 1 round, ussually more. (usually followed by Allied partial offence vs Japan.)
General warning for the substance called Tequila…… Yes you get drunk, but strange… Stay away from it… :-P
I should have gone heavy against Russia from the start with Japan, not go mess around n Canada to put even more brakes on US…
But im on the way… and Russia can´t take India if you want to keep Cauccasus…
i got it to a 95.1% loss… but it doesn´t matter since you didn´t try…

these German tanks will be needed elsewhere, and no Russia will not fall next round.
at the most you will get 5 Arm 2 Figs in on Russia,
cauccasus is mine again, you will retake it (maybe)
Russia will have at a Min 10 inf 1 Fig 1 Arm in Russia, feelfree to attack. 99.1% of the time you will have nothing left. after 10 rounds of combat.

And the comming US IC in Sinkiang will now become a real pain (if you didn´t like it last time ;) )

And your Trn´s will be hit by my lone surviving US Fig. (but Trn´s are notorious killing machines so you might survive.)

Well what do i say…… ( i have been very succesfull indeed with this) But the main point to make is that if it goes badly, you can retreat the fig, and no real “harm” is done…
So when doing something 50/50 make sure it won´t lose you the game… coughtrecent sea battlecought (don´t know yet…)
