When someone like us explain the game….its ok…we resume and we explain well…but when youre new and you read the rulebook…it can be very hard to understand…specialy when you dont speak english  :lol:

Personnally….like i do in 50th anniversary…i put an chinese infantry in evry territory…thats the base…ridiculous setup for the chinese…then i’ll maybe put the 40 ipc at the start of the us turn but im not sure about this…and for the carrier…i think its too much

Per LH 8-12-09

The French territories will be French but there will not be any French units located on the AAP map. They will appear in the Europe game however. As for the Global game… I’m not sure there is a large enough French presence to warrant French units in FIC.

I’m not sure what he means by that. France maintained a prescense there, not a huge one, but enough, I would think, to warrant at least an infantry.

And sure a naval base might help Japan, but I think that would play out to be a double-edged knife: it becomes more of a tempting target to the Japanese, but since it’s Global game, an attack on French Indochina means risking the ire of the UK and ANZAC.

Unless, of course, Larry already has a rule that says even in Global a Japanese attack on French Indochina won’t provoke Britain and ANZAC. Though I think it would seem better if it was non-provocative only after Paris falls…

Yeah what is the case with the decleration of war with french indochina in global….is there one is japs enter it?

Thats it, Japan will have to consider the huge russian force in front of manchuria in the beginning. Larry said it…he tried to attack a 18 stack of russian infantry with japan and he lost… this attack killed him as Japan… the whole pacific theater will be change by that…a better india…Japan have to consider USSR has a potential ennemy who can attack him or a potential target to help germany…A USA who can bring more money to the pacific war…Alone the AAp40 is ok…in global the pacific war will be more dynamic!

Rookie player….you know…i mean those who begin to play axis and allies…not some one who already play 50th anniversary each week…they got to learn in some ways and give them germany isn’t a good idea vs veterans

France + China + Anzac can be fun to play for some one who is new to axis and allies…and for the wait…from 1940 its just cool to see the world war 2 turn in new ways…
