Hum interesting idea, didnt think about this minor ic in yougoslavia, more usefull than a minor ic in southern france

Does anyone think its a good idea to help italy in the med and land Herr general Rommel with his afrika korps?

I think it is……but Germany got to take southern france, less ipc for Italy and put a minor and some navy wich cost some valuable ipc’s but in fact there’s a NO for the german to be in Egypt so… i dont know, what you guys think?

And by the way if ya can talk about those two ideas

G3 seems optimal for me, massing the right troops in the right place.

In fact this make sens, the french med fleet was destroyed by the british, the one in atlantic was use for the dunkerk evacuation so, house rule for this french med fleet could be ok.

The problem is Germany do not have access to the med……

If Germany take Southern France and put a minor ic, it can help Italy to survive in the med and maybe land some afrika korps in africa.

Let Italy take Paris is a good point, very good but its only a balancing issue in the pact of steel, i mean Italy will be ok to survive and fight, but Germany will suffer from this. Maybe its not critical for germany but…you know what i mean.

Anyway, Italy is a big boy, without navy, Italy is still a pain, with lets say : Yougoslavia, Greece, southern France and maybe Bulgaria ( if germany has no plan to put a ic there) Italy can protect Europe and put a expeditionary force into russia to kill some ruskies and find a way for the german army to press the attack.

I know that the States are some really big troubles comin in, but if you let go Germany and Japan, focusing on Italy, you will loose some prescious time getting them to theirs knees.

Yes but anyway Germany will have to attack USSR as soon as possible and USA will follow the same turn……they both declared war in 1941 and by the game mechanics both will enter the war in the same turn…if Japan want to be a good partner on that way:P

My group of 9 (yes im serious) will play the weekend after the 24th. I have my copy perordered so no problem there. we shall play friday night saturday and if necesarry sunday after church (except for my little muslim buddy)

For the russian declaration of war and the enter of China, this is stupid…the russian can just say…ok im at war with japan and just put some Russian infantry in China without attacking…is this corect?
