I needed to edit the sub in the med since AAA would not allow me to move through the adriatic.

what is your editing policy? I have no problem to edit NC moves if not affected by battle dice results. what do you think?

Looking for a OOB / Lowluck game, bid tbd

I consider myself to be a slightly above average player, certainly I cannot cope with the pros here… but I will accept any tier (losing is just as good as winning ;-)). Will be able to post at least one turn per day (hope so at least)

Well, I think that was it. Actually your 3 carrier build was not so hard to see, I could have noticed that. But somehow I did not, and now I see no point here to continue… with a presence in PHI I could have spread some harvoc now and there, but without it I have lost finally. I will post in the results forum today.

Very well played, sir. It was an honor to battle with you. I have known your nick since quite some time, lurking in the strategies forums and reading your posts. I thought I was also quite a decent player, but apparemntly I have much to learn. Thank you for the lesson!

Coming to learning I would kindly ask about your advise how to improve. So, summarizing my play, I see a couple of things that I could have done better, but I would ask you to add your perception here… would be very appreciated!

1. I think my bid was not optimal. I like presence in the middle of the board. Nevertheless, I would go with more ground units next time. to be honest that was the highest bid I was ever playing with, and I did not put it very well here.
2. I always try to leverage US between both parties, nevertheless this was not very well done here. A second AC in the Atlantic early would have brought much better results. Also, once you start bomber builds with US you should stick to that. I started too earyl and did not pull it through efficiently.
3. Overall I was loosing too many units in small balltes. I like blocking the italien can opener with russia to deny G the caucasus one turn, so I still think thats a valid move. But I was also loosing units like this too many times, eg US blockers in the pacific. these should have been ANZAC instead. Also, of corse, fighting a retreat battle with UK is very consuming. Not sure though how that could be avoided.
